  • Patent number: 5319520
Abstract: In an electronic equipment assembly having a plurality of electronic equipment housings tiered, a horizontal air passageway is formed on the lower surface of each bottom plate of each electronic equipment housing, air ventilation openings being formed on the top plate thereof, vertical ducts open to the horizontal air passageway being formed on the outside of the side plate, the cross section of each vertical duct being the same in shape and size. When two electronic equipment housings are tiered, common vertical ducts are formed, through which heated air can be expelled and cables can be routed.

  • Patent number: 5185791
Abstract: In a combination desk and wall telephone set, a base member having a telephone back surface and an optional board therewithin is joined with a main body having a front surface on which an operation panel is arranged and a telephone circuit board therewithin. The back surface of the base member is formed tilted with respect to a front surface of the main body, and further, the joining direction of the base member to the main body is reversible. By reversing the joining direction, an appropriate inclination angle of the operation panel can be selectively obtained so as to be suitable for desk use or wall use. A recessed cord housing portion is formed at part of the back surface of the base member so that the surplus telephone cord is not seen from outside. This cord housing portion is formed at the bottom wall thereof with a plurality of connector housing portions having connection openings for respectively housing plural connectors mounted on the telephone circuit board and the optional board.

  • Patent number: 4924044
Abstract: A light emitting push button switch includes a button block moveable in an upward and downward direction responsive to a pushing force applied by an operator to thus alternately change the state of the switch from an ON-state to an OFF-state, a switching detector for detecting movement of the button block and a light source, e.g., a light emitting diode, for illuminating the bottom surface of the button block when the switch is in the ON-state. The button block includes a transparency block and a non-transparency block adhered to the transparency block. At least one portion of the rearwardly facing side of the transparency block gently slopes forward. When the switch is in the ON-state, the light source is activated and emits light which enters the transparency block. As the light enters the block, it is reflected by the rearwardly facing side of the transparency block and is guided to the top surface of the transparency block and radiated therefrom within a wide range.

  • Patent number: 4803724
Abstract: This invention is concerned with arrangement for fitting a sender onto a hand set. The hand set of the invention enables a float set type sender to be set onto a hand set case by using a holder which is designed to set a pressure contact set type sender assembly. The holder includes not only pressure contact means for firmly setting the pressure contact set type sender assembly onto a talk sending surface of the hand set case but also pressure contact means for setting the float set type sender assembly on the talk sending surface of the hand set case in the floated state. Different kinds of senders can be fitted to the hand set case merely by means of a single holder. Thus, the hand set of the invention can be put in common use for different kinds of senders.
