  • Patent number: 7821267
Abstract: In an imaging according to the step moving method, a slice imaging condition with respect to each station is optimized, thereby enabling an efficient imaging. A controller of an MRI apparatus displays positioning frames 601 to 606, and operation handles 607 and 608 thereof, in order to set a slice imaging condition at every various positions (stations) of a table on which a test object is mounted. By manipulating the positioning frames and the operation handles via I/O unit, the slice imaging condition is set. According to this slice imaging condition, imaging at each station position of the table is executed.

  • Patent number: 7635978
Abstract: A control means controls an imaging means for taking an image of a test object by a magnetic resonance, the test object being placed in an imaging space, and a transfer means that moves the test object, and on the basis of a difference (moving distance) between a position of the transfer means at the time of receiving a command of pausing the imaging and a position of the transfer means at the time of resuming the imaging, the control means controls the position of the transfer means or the position for imaging at the time of resuming, in such a manner that missing of data 503 caused by the difference can be compensated. With this configuration, it is possible to provide an MRI apparatus that is provided with an imaging pause function, and even when the pause function is activated, there is data consistency between the data before the pausing and the data after the resuming, thereby obtaining a high quality image.

  • Patent number: 5655532
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging method includes the steps of setting a repetition time in accordance with an intensity of an encoding gradient magnetic field, applying a gradient magnetic field for a slice, the set encoding gradient magnetic field, a readout gradient magnetic field, and RF pulses to a subject in a predetermined sequence of the set repetition time, measuring nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) signals inside the subject in a full encode range with a first repetition time, continuously measuring, at least one time, NMR signals in a first range containing a zero encoding quantity and sandwiched between two predetermined intensities of the encoding gradient magnetic field with a repetition time which is different from the first repetition time, and reconstructing an image by combining the measured NMR signals with one another.

  • Patent number: 5543709
Abstract: An object is repeatedly excited by a 90-degree pulse and a plurality of spin echoes are obtained by a 180-degree pulse each time the excitation is repeated. The spin echoes are differently phase-encoded and the spin echoes thus generated are assigned to a substantial half portion of a raw image data space in a phase-encoding direction, the remaining substantial half of data being estimated from the data in that portion. The data covering the raw image data space are used to produce a corresponding image of the object.

  • Patent number: 5431163
Abstract: A raw data space or k-space having a frequency encoding axis and a phase encoding axis orthogonal to each other are divided into three regions in the direction of the phase encoding axis which are composed of a central region and two side regions on both sides of the central region. The central region is occupied by one of an even-numbered echo group and an odd-numbered echo group, while each of the side regions is occupied by the other echo group. Thereby, artifacts are reduced which are caused by moving or flowing spins.
