  • Publication number: 20240396296
Abstract: An optical semiconductor device includes: a substrate; a first protrusion including a first mesa having a laminate structure and including an active layer; and an alignment marker provided either as a salient portion which protrudes with respect to surrounding portion in the first direction or as a depressed portion which is depressed in an opposite direction of the first direction, and configured to identify a position of the optical semiconductor device in a direction intersecting with the first direction. The alignment marker is shifted with respect to top portion of the salient portion in opposite direction of the first direction or in the first direction with respect to bottom portion of the depressed portion. The alignment marker includes a first lateral face facing toward a direction inclined in an opposite direction of the first direction with respect to a direction orthogonal to the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20240388065
Abstract: An optical semiconductor device includes: a substrate having a (100) face as a surface; a first protrusion protruding from the substrate in a first direction and including a first mesa having a laminate structure in which a plurality of semiconductor layers are layered on the surface in the first direction, the first mesa including an active layer as one of the semiconductor layers; and a second protrusion protruding from the substrate in the first direction at a position distance from the first protrusion in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, and the second protrusion having a laminate structure in which a plurality of semiconductor layers are layered on the surface in the first direction. An end face in the first direction of the second protrusion has a substantially polygonal shape, and each side of the end face is non-parallel to a virtual line extending in [0-11] direction.

  • Patent number: 11621797
Abstract: The present technology relates to an information terminal, an information processing device, and a program that make it possible to find out that an installation status has changed. The information terminal transmits information at predetermined time intervals. The information terminal causes information that is to be transmitted in a normal state of installation to be transmitted in a case where, after a return from a sleep state, a flag indicating whether or not an abnormal state of the installation has been detected indicates that the abnormal state has not been detected, and causes information different from the information that is to be transmitted in the normal state to be transmitted in a case where, after the return from the sleep state, the flag indicates that the abnormal state has been detected. The present technology can be applied to a home communication system.

  • Publication number: 20220334802
Abstract: An apparatus includes: a product-sum operation circuit that executes a product-sum operation with a plurality of input values quantized by power expression and plurality of weigh coefficients quantized by power expression corresponding to respective input values, in which an exponent of each of the input values is expressed by a fraction having a predetermined divisor in a denominator, an exponent of each of the weigh coefficients is expressed by a fraction having the divisor in a denominator, the product-sum operation circuit executes the product-sum operation using a plurality of addition multipliers based on a remainder when a value obtained by adding a numerator related to the exponent of each of the input values and a numerator related to the exponent of each of the weigh coefficients is divided as a dividend, and each of the addition multipliers is a floating-point number with an exponent part having a radix of 2.
