  • Patent number: 7888586
Abstract: A wireless power transfer system includes: a plurality of power transmitters, each of which transmits a microwave; and a rectenna base station which receives the microwave to generate power. The rectenna base station includes: a rectenna; and control section which specifies an identification code for identifying each power transmitter and generates a command signal to change a phase of the power transmitter specified by identification code so as to increase a power value received at the rectenna. Each of the power transmitters comprises: a plurality of transmission antenna elements, each of which transmits the microwave to the rectenna base station; and a phase controller which makes phase change of the microwave based on the command signal from the phase monitor and control section of the rectenna base station if the identification code matches a stored identification code.

  • Publication number: 20090003295
Abstract: When data is to be transmitted from a transmission source to a transmission destination in a wireless or wired ad-hoc network constructed in an indoor environment such as a house or an office, the data is transmitted by using a path that is formed over a plurality of channels that the respective nodes have. Also, when data transmission with high reliability is to be performed, same data is sent to two or more paths, thereby even when the data on one path cannot be normally delivered due to noise, the data can be delivered to the transmission destination without being affected by the noise by using the data transmitted on another channel.

  • Patent number: 5160944
Abstract: A thermal printer includes a platen roller on which a recording sheet is wound in such a manner that the recording sheet is laid over a part of the cylindrical wall of the platen roller. A thermal head is pushed against the platen roller to heat heating points selected for transferring ink from an ink sheet onto the recording sheet. A sheet pulling means pulls the recording sheet in a predetermined direction. A pinch roller on the sheet supplying side pushes the recording sheet against the platen roller with a predetermined force of depression so that the recording sheet is wound on the platen roller. A pinch roller rotating means is provided at at least one end of the pinch roller for rotating the pinch roller at a peripheral speed lower than that of the platen roller.

  • Patent number: 4910530
Abstract: A thermal transcription printer has a thermal head (8), a platen (9), a pair of pinch rollers (10), (11) disposed on both sides of the platen and a gearing apparatus consisting of gears (31), (32) and (33) and oneway clutches (29) and (30) and the gearing apparatus over-drives or reduces the rotation speed of the pinch rollers (10) and (11) and coupling of the oneway clutches and the gears is selected for making peripheral velocity of a pinch roller at a forward position against the paper conveyance faster than that at a backward position.

  • Patent number: 4878772
Abstract: A thermal transcription printer has a thermal head (8), a platen (9), a pair of pinch rollers (10), (11) disposed on both side of the platen and a pressure control device, consisting of cams (35), sliding blocks (31) and springs (32), (33) and (36) and the cams controls pressing force of a pinch roller disposed backward of paper conveying direction smaller than that disposed forward for making the paper sheet (3) closely adhere to the platen (9).

  • Patent number: 4257457
Abstract: In a discharge valve apparatus, a discharge port on a valve plate covered by a long thin discharge valve is formed in a elliptic shape as horizontal view whereby stress of the long thin discharge valve in longitudinal direction at its center is decreased and the fatigue strength of the valve is improved and reliability is high and the apparatus can be easily manufactured and the efficiency of the compressor is increased.
