  • Patent number: 11655894
Abstract: A shift range control device switches a shift range by controlling drive of a motor. An angle calculation unit calculates a motor angle based on a signal from a rotation angle sensor that detects a rotation position of the motor. A drive control unit drives the motor so that the motor angle becomes a target angle according to the target shift range, and stops a rotor by a fixed phase energization, when the motor angle reaches a target angle. When the rotor vibrates with respect to stop position, the drive control unit maintains a state in which a brake torque, which is the torque generated when moving away from center of vibration, is larger than an acceleration torque, which is the torque generated when moving toward the center of vibration, and reduces the current that energizes the motor based on a difference between the brake torque and the acceleration torque.

  • Patent number: 11603927
Abstract: A shift range control apparatus controls a shift range switching system that switches shift ranges by controlling driving of a motor. This control apparatus calculates a motor angle based on a motor rotation angle signal, acquires an output shaft signal based on a rotation position of an output shaft from an output shaft sensor, sets a target rotation angle based on a target shift range and the output shaft signal, and controls driving of the motor such that the motor angle becomes the target rotation angle. The control apparatus sets the target rotation angle to a target limit value, in response to the target rotation angle that is set based on the output shaft signal being a value at which rotation occurs that is further toward a back side in a rotation direction than the target limit value that is set based on shift ranges before and after switching.

  • Patent number: 11606048
Abstract: A shift range control apparatus switches a shift range by controlling a motor. The shift range control apparatus includes an angle calculator, a speed calculator and a drive controller. The angle calculator calculates a motor angle based on a detected value of a rotational angle sensor. The speed calculator calculates a motor rotational speed based on the detected value of the rotational angle sensor. The drive controller executes a stationary phase energization control to stop the motor in response to the motor angle reaching a stationary phase energization start position. The drive controller sets a stationary energization phase being a stationary phase of the motor in the stationary phase energization control, according to the motor rotational speed when the motor angle reaches the stationary phase energization start position.

  • Patent number: 11396942
Abstract: A shift range control device includes a signal receiver, an abnormality monitor, and a drive controller. The signal receiver acquires an encoder signal from an encoder capable of outputting three or more phase encoder signals having different phases. The abnormality monitor monitors an abnormality of the encoder. The drive controller controls drive of a motor by switching an energized phase of a motor winding so that a rotation position of the motor becomes a target rotation position according to a target shift range. When the abnormality of the encoder is detected, the driver controller drives the motor by faulty phase identification control to identify a faulty phase that is a phase in which an abnormality of the encoder signal occurs, and a normal phase in which the encoder signal is normal.

  • Patent number: 11316464
Abstract: A shift range control device includes a plurality of control units provided for each of motor windings. When a motor rotation angle sensor is normal, a drive control unit controls an energization of the motor winding of its own system by using a motor rotation angle signal. When the motor rotation angle sensor has an abnormality and it is determined that an output shaft is rotating before a standby time elapses, the drive control unit does not energize the motor winding of its own system. When it is determined that the output shaft is not rotating even after the standby time has elapsed, the drive control unit controls the energization of the motor winding of its own system without using the motor rotation angle signal.

  • Patent number: 11313460
Abstract: A shift range control device controls switching of a shift range by controlling a drive of a motor, and includes a signal acquisition unit and a drive control unit. The signal acquisition unit acquires the rotation angle signal from the encoder that outputs rotation angle signals of three or more phases with different phases. The drive control unit controls the drive of the motor so that a rotational position of the motor becomes the target rotational position according to the target shift range. When an abnormality of the rotation angle signal is detected during switching of the shift range, the drive control unit performs fixed phase energization that continues energization to the same energized phase, and stops rotation of the motor.

  • Patent number: 11225788
Abstract: To provide a roof structure free from generation of a dead space, capable of reducing a load moment. A roof structure including a roof (1) supported by a post (2) is a cantilever structure having the front end of the roof (1) formed in a free end and the rear end connected to the upper end of the post (2). The lower end of the post (2) is fixed in a concrete foundation (5). The post (2) is tilted with the upper end directed backward and with the lower end directed forward. A counter moment cm generated on the post (2) at the time of application of a load to the roof (1) reduces a load moment (M) generated by the load, thereby bringing the post (2) into an advantageous state in strength. The configuration of the post (2) with two post members and a vertical connecting member (10) connecting the post members facilitates the construction of the post (2) to be tilted at a desired angle.

  • Publication number: 20210356040
Abstract: A shift range control device switches a shift range by controlling a drive of a motor in which a rotor rotates by energizing a motor winding. An angle calculation unit calculates a motor angle based on a signal from a rotation angle sensor that detects a rotation position of the rotor. An energization control unit drives the rotor so that the motor angle becomes a target angle according to the target shift range, and stops the rotor at a position where the motor angle becomes the target angle, by controlling the energization of the motor winding. A zero point estimation unit estimates a speed 0 point, which is a timing at which a rotational speed of the vibrating rotor becomes 0 during the stop control for stopping the rotor. The energization control unit switches a current control at the estimated speed 0 point.

  • Patent number: 11125325
Abstract: A shift range switching system includes: a motor that includes a motor winding and generates a cogging torque by a permanent magnet; a drive circuit; an output shaft; a shift range switching mechanism that includes a trough providing member with troughs and crests and integrally rotates with the output shaft, an engagement member that fits in one trough corresponding to a shift range, and an urging member that urges the engagement member toward the one trough; and a control unit. The engagement member drops into the one trough with an allowance. When an abnormality occurs in a motor drive system in an ascending action in which the engagement member moves from one trough toward one crest, the shift range switching system reduces an occurrence probability of an intermediate range stop abnormality.

  • Patent number: 11092237
Abstract: A shift range control apparatus controls switching of a shift range by controlling driving of a motor, and includes a signal acquisition unit and a drive control unit. The signal acquisition unit acquires rotation angle signals output from a rotation angle sensor. The rotation angle signals respectively represents three or more phases different from each other. The drive control unit controls the driving of the motor to cause a rotational position of the motor to reach a target rotational position corresponding to a target shift range. The drive control unit changes from an energization pattern in a normal state to an energization pattern and continues the driving of the motor, in response to detecting a fault of the rotation angle signal during the switching of the shift range.

  • Patent number: 11085531
Abstract: A shift range control device includes a drive circuit, a voltage detector, and a controller. The drive circuit includes switching elements, and is shared by a plurality of winding sets. The voltage detector detects terminal voltages of respective phases. The controller controls energization of the winding sets by controlling on and off operations of the switching elements, and controls interruption units each capable of switching between conduction and interruption of power from a power supply to a corresponding winding set. The controller performs disconnection diagnosis based on the terminal voltage during energization of the winding sets in a control state where one of the interruption units is controlled to conduct the power and a remaining interruption unit is controlled to interrupt the power.
