  • Patent number: 6571681
Abstract: An attachment structure for a position-detecting sensor includes a sensor attachment mechanism having a rail member which is secured to an outer side surface of a cylinder tube and a holder which holds the position-detecting sensor and which is provided slidably along the rail member, wherein chamfered sections, each of which is chamfered with a predetermined radius of curvature, are formed for the rail member and the holder. As a result, the attachment position of the position-detecting sensor can be arbitrarily adjusted in a stroke direction of a cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20020175569
Abstract: The electromagnetic valve has an electromagnetic actuator for operating a valve. The electromagnetic actuator has a movable core that reciprocally moves in an axial direction. A stator core has an attracting portion. The attracting portion has a conical portion that is defined by a uniform diameter inner surface and an outwardly inclined outer surface. The outer surface has a smaller diameter at a position closer to an initial position of the plunger. Therefore outer diameter of the conical portion is increased in an attracting direction of the plunger. Moreover, increasing rate of the outer diameter is decreased in the attracting direction. Therefore the outer surface has a greater inclination angle at a position closer to an initial position of the plunger.

  • Patent number: 6424483
Abstract: A magnetic recording and reproducing device according to the present invention operates with steps of moving a magnetic tape having a plurality of tracks per frame and a plurality of control signals recorded thereon, keeping count of the pulses of a frequency generator signal corresponding to the rotation of a capstan motor by a frequency generator counter, resetting the count of the frequency generator pulses by the control signal reproduced by a fixed magnetic head, detecting the track number by the control signal counter reset by a frame reference signal, controlling, at the start, the start timing on the basis of the tape stop position detected by the frequency generator pulse counter and control counter and the reference frame signal from the reference frame signal generator. The device prevents thinning of tracks at the editing point in after-break recording and the disturbance of images immediately after the start.

  • Patent number: 5833262
Abstract: An air bag assembly mountable in an automobile vehicle, which assembly includes an air bag, a pad, and a bag holder. The air bag is expandable between a folded state and a deployed state. The pad has a ceiling wall structure and a side wall structure. The ceiling wall structure is configured to cover the air bag when in the folded state and constructed and arranged to rupture when the air bag expands from the folded state to the deployed state to create a passageway which permits the air bag to deploy into an interior compartment of the vehicle. The side wall structure of the pad extends from the ceiling wall structure to define a substantially annular cross section and includes a plurality of spaced lock holes formed therein. The bag holder, which holds the air bag and the pad, includes first and second plates which are substantially horizontally and vertically oriented, respectively, when the air bag assembly is mounted in the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5787762
Abstract: A pad module is attached to a steering wheel according to the attaching method of the invention in the following manner. First, a lower cover is formed to have a bolt hole and a temporary bolt holder. The bolt holder is integral with the lower cover via a hinge portion and an arm portion. The arm portion is turned around the hinge portion to position the bolt holder in registration with the bolt hole, and is fixedly held. Then, the lower cover is secured to the steering wheel main body, and a bolt is inserted through the temporary bolt holder from the bolt hole and temporarily held by the holder. Thereafter, the pad module is set in place, and a nut is engaged with the bolt. By fastening the bolt with a fastening jig, the pad module is attached to the steering wheel main body. Because the temporary bolt holder is provided integrally with the lower cover, separate parts for temporarily holding a bolt is unnecessary and accordingly, it is not required to fix such parts by screw fasteners or the like.

  • Patent number: 5603977
Abstract: A gummy starch is prepared by conmbining a starch with a saccharide and subsequently heating up the mixture. The gummy starch consists essentially of a water insoluble part with a chewable property and good dispersibility in oils and fats. A process for preparation of a gummy starch comprises the steps of combining a starch with a saccharide and heating up the mixture at such a temperature for such a time as to cause the saccharide to be caramelized to pick up water insoluble part. A chewable food raw material consists essentially of a gummy starch prepared by combining a starch with a saccharide and subsequently heating up the mixture. An oil and fat dispersant consists essentially of a gummy starch prepared by combining a starch with a saccharide and subsequently heating up the mixture.
