  • Publication number: 20030031900
Abstract: The present invention provides a proton-exchange membrane fuel cell power generating equipment that keeps temperature of coolant of a fuel cell in a predetermined temperature range without stop operation of the equipment even when a hot water reserving tank is filled with hot water and the hot water is not discharged to the outside, automatically prevents freezing of a water system during stop operation of the equipment, minimizes maintenance work in a cold region or in the winter season, has high reliability with equipment's service life extended, and supplies hot water heated by efficiently recovering exhaust heat from plural heat exchangers installed in the equipment to the hot water reserving tank. The power generating equipment has a line for circulating and feeding hot water A produced by exchanging heat in the heat exchanger connected to a process gas burner for burning hydrogen until the equipment becomes stable in starting operation.

  • Patent number: 5940122
Abstract: A housing assembly for housing a surveillance television camera comprises a housing member to house the surveillance television camera therein, having a front wall provided with a window paned with a glass filter through which the surveillance television camera receives light rays representing the scene of a surveillance zone, and a flange to be fastened to a fixed structure; and covering member to cover the housing member, having a front wall provided with an opening which is positioned opposite to the window of the housing member when the covering member is put on the housing member, and capable of covering the housing member so that the surveillance television camera housed in the housing member will not be perceptible. Since the housing assembly is simple in shape and appearance and can be colored in a color harmonizing with the ambient color, the housing assembly is scarcely noticeable and does not make people aware of being under surveillance.

  • Patent number: 5898774
Abstract: A portable information terminal includes a body casing which incorporates a function unit for transmitting and receiving information and has a groove portion with a plane bottom, and a card casing which is reversibly and slidably attached in the plane-bottom groove portion of the body casing and has an operation unit. The plane-bottom groove portion of the body casing has a rectangular shape with side surfaces opposed to each other and a pair of guide grooves are formed on the opposed surfaces thereof. The card casing has a rectangular shape substantially similar to that of the plane-bottom groove portion and has a pair of pins near the end portions of the opposed side surfaces. The card casing is attached to the body casing by inserting the pair of pins into the pair of guide grooves.

  • Patent number: 5857157
Abstract: A portable communication terminal apparatus according to the present invention includes a first means having a microphone and a speaker, and a second means having operation keys and/or display means. At least one of the first and second means has a magnet for attaching the second means to the first means. The second means can be attached to the first means. Each of the first means and the second means has a light emitter and a light detector, whereby data is transmitted therebetween. The operation keys are provided on one surface of the second means. When the second means is attached to the first means with the one surface thereof being faced forward, data is transmitted between the light emitter of the first means corresponding to the light detector of the second means and the light emitter of the second means corresponding to the light detector of the first means. The second means has a memory means for storing identification information of a user.
