Abstract: According to one embodiment, a unit includes a casing and a connection terminal. The casing has a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and an attachment hole. The connection terminal has a connection portion which is inserted through the attachment hole from the side of the second surface and thus protrudes on the side of the first surface, a flange which is provided at the proximal end of the connection portion and which has a size that does not allow the passage of the flange through the attachment hole, and a holding portion which holds the casing between this holding portion and the flange located on the side of the second surface opposite to the first surface.

Abstract: A high-frequency receiving unit is provided with a casing configured to incorporate a high-frequency circuit which receives a high-frequency signal and a signal processing circuit which obtains at least one of a picture signal and a data signal from the received high-frequency signal, a display disposed in an opening of the case and configured to display the output of the signal processing circuit, and an antenna configured to receive the high-frequency signal and to supply it to the high-frequency circuit, wherein the antenna is disposed in any one of a top surface, a bottom surface, a right side surface, a left side surface and a back surface on the back side of an intermediate position for dividing the casing into two portions in the direction of depth.

Abstract: A cradle receives RF signals, performs level control of the RF signals, and emits the RF signals to a main-body unit installed to the cradle. When the main-body unit is installed, the cradle receives a video signal from the main-body unit, applies signal processing to the video signal, and then outputs it. Concurrently, the cradle outputs power-supply power to the main-body unit. Further, the cradle performs level control of the received RF signals to a first level when the main-body unit is installed, and performs level control of the received RF signals to a second level higher than the first level when the main-body unit is not installed.

Abstract: A dislocation between lead wires and a main body of an electronic part has been apt to occur when cross portions of lead wires are soldered to opposed electrodes of the main body if the cross portions do not contact stably with the electrodes. In order to provide stable contact between the cross portions and the electrodes, the cross portions are bent, in a circular arc for example, so that they contact the electrodes respectively at two points.
