  • Patent number: 11958926
Abstract: A modified polyolefin resin having an intended adhesion strength to various substrates even when graft modification may be carried out by using an ?,?-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a cyclic structure. The modified polyolefin resin may be a modified product of a polyolefin resin and satisfies conditions (A) to (C): condition (A)—a modifying component includes an ?,?-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a cyclic structure; condition (B)—a ring-opening degree expressed by formula (1) is 40 or more; and condition (C)—the polyolefin resin includes an ethylene structural unit, ring-opening degree=modification degree K×ring-opening rate R??(1) wherein, in the formula (1), the modification degree K is a grafting weight (wt. %) of the ?,?-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative, and the ring-opening rate R is a ring-opening rate (%) of the cyclic structure in the ?,?-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative.

  • Publication number: 20240104945
Abstract: A driver state determination apparatus includes: an in-vehicle camera detecting a driver's sightline and head behavior; and a controller configured to determine the driver's state based on the driver's sightline and head behavior. When the driver is in an abnormal state based on the driver's sightline movement, the controller determines whether or not the driver's abnormal state a visual field impairment based on a change in each of a yaw angle and a pitch angle of the driver's head. When the abnormal state is the visual field impairment, the controller determines that the driver is aware of the visual field impairment when there is a direction in which the driver's sightline is not directed in the driver's field of view, and unaware of the visual field impairment when there is no direction in which the driver's sightline is not directed in the driver's field of view.

  • Patent number: 10473924
Abstract: An optical scanning device that scans incident light by causing a mirror to oscillate is provided. The optical scanning device includes a displacement sensor for detecting a swing angle of the mirror and a temperature sensor used for temperature compensation of the displacement sensor. The displacement sensor is a piezoelectric sensor that has a structure in which a lower electrode, a piezoelectric film, and an upper electrode are layered in this order. The temperature sensor is a resistance type temperature measuring body that has a same layer structure as the lower electrode.

  • Patent number: 7273335
Abstract: A machine tool includes a table supported by a bed for forward and rearward movement along a path of movement, left and right transversely aligned upright columns on opposite sides of the path of movement, a cross rail supported in the columns for movement upwardly and downwardly along forward and rear guide rails on inwardly facing column surfaces, a spindle head supported by the cross rail for movement leftwardly and rightwardly. The cross rail, the left and right columns, the spindle head and the guide rails are symmetrically positioned from front to rear and vertically by vertical or horizontal symmetry defining planes so that heat generated creates balanced self-cancelling forces.

  • Publication number: 20060008335
Abstract: A machine tool comprises a table 12 supported by a bed 11 forwardly and rearwardly movably, a pair of left and right columns 13 provided upright on opposite sides of a path of movement of the table, a cross rail 14 supported by the columns 13 upwardly and downwardly movably, and a spindle head 15 supported by the cross rail 14 leftwardly and rightwardly movably. With respect to the front-rear direction, the columns 13 have centerlines in alignment with each other, i.e., a centerline L. The cross rail 14 has a centerline N with respect to the front-rear direction. The cross rail 14 is moved upward and downward with the column centerline L with respect to the front-rear direction in alignment with the rail centerline N with respect to the front-rear direction.

  • Patent number: 5853358
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for mounting and dismounting a blind cover, which is used for protecting an exposed surface, from cutting fluid and chips. The blind cover is held and carried by a blind cover carrier having a shank mountable into a main spindle and a pot of a tool magazine, and a flange provided with a gripping groove to be gripped by a tool changing arm. The blind cover for protecting the exposed surface of the coupling is held by openable engaging pawls provided on the blind cover carrier. The blind cover carrier holding the blind cover is carried and mounted to the main spindle in the same way as the tool and the attachment. The blind cover and the coupling are provided with respective engaging pawls. The engaging and disengaging operation of the respective engaging pawls and the mounting and dismounting operation of the blind cover to the exposed surface of the coupling are executed by a swivel indexing function of the main spindle.

  • Patent number: 5823722
Abstract: An automatic tool changer provides an attachment to be easily clamped if the attachment is mounted to a spindle head. Conical disk springs are arranged between the bevel gear for rotating a tool spindle supported by bearings at the center of an attachment body and the spline shaft projecting from the lower end of a shank member of the attachment to be mounted to the main spindle and inserted into the central part of the bevel gear. If the shank member is drawn up by a collet, the conical disk springs are compressed, and large diameter coupling provided at the attachment body engages with a large diameter coupling provided at the lower end face of a spindle ram. The attachment is thereby fixed to a spindle head and the turning torque of the main spindle is transmitted to a tool held by the attachment.
