    Abstract: A driving assistance device includes an object detection unit, an acquisition unit acquiring a first value of a relative speed of an approaching object with respect to an own vehicle, a ghost determination unit, and an assistance determination unit. The ghost determination unit calculates a second value of the relative speed of the approaching object in accordance with a speed of the own vehicle and a value of the relative speed of a following object located between the own vehicle and the approaching object; calculates, as a speed difference, an absolute difference between the first value of the relative speed and the second value of the relative speed; calculates, as an azimuth difference, an absolute difference between an azimuth of the following object and an azimuth of the approaching object; and determines whether the approaching object is the ghost target based on the speed difference and the azimuth difference.

    Abstract: In a device temperature regulator, an evaporator cools a target device by a latent heat of evaporation of a working fluid that absorbs heat from the target device and is evaporated. A first condenser includes a first heat exchange passage that condenses the working fluid evaporated in the evaporator by a heat exchange with an outside first medium. A second condenser includes a second heat exchange passage that condenses the working fluid evaporated in the evaporator by a heat exchange with an outside second medium. A gas-phase passage causes the working fluid evaporated in the evaporator to flow to the first condenser and the second condenser. Furthermore, a first liquid-phase passage causes the working fluid condensed in the first condenser to flow to the evaporator, and a second liquid-phase passage causes the working fluid condensed in the second condenser to flow to the evaporator.

    Abstract: If a vehicle surroundings monitoring apparatus is equipped with four radars disposed at each of the four corners of the body of a vehicle in order to detect an object around the vehicle, the interfere of the radio waves of the radars likely to occur. As a result, the accuracy for detecting an object by the radars will deteriorate. Specifically, if two of detection areas are adjacent to each other of the radars overlaps with each other and the two of the radars transmits radio waves at the same time, the interfere of the radio waves will occur in the overlapping area. In view of this, the four radars are divided into two groups such that the detection areas of two radars within the group aren't adjacent to each other and transmission period of one of the groups and that of the other of the groups are repeated alternately.

The RLDECU 10 sets a performing condition for performing a rear-end pre-crash safety control (rear PCS control) to a moderate performing condition when the LCA is being performed, and sets the performing condition of the rear PCS control to a normal performing condition when the LCA is not being performed. The moderate performing condition is set such that the rear PCS control is performed more easily compared with the normal performing condition. For example, in the moderate performing condition, a detection area of a target vehicle which is a vehicle subject to the rear PCS control is expanded compared with the detection area in the normal performing condition.
