  • Patent number: 11002794
Abstract: A control apparatus of a power supply system including a battery, a battery sensor to detect a state quantity of the battery, and a generator to generate a power for the battery includes a controller. The controller executes normal charging control to control battery charging based on a detection result from the battery sensor, by controlling an operation of the generator. The controller executes failsafe control to prioritize battery charging regardless of the detection result from the battery sensor, if the battery sensor is determined to be operating abnormally. The controller executes full charging control to charge the battery until the battery is fully charged, when the failsafe control ends. The controller executes the normal charging control after a state-of-charge of the battery used in the normal charging control is set to a value corresponding to a state where the battery is fully charged, when the full charging control ends.

  • Publication number: 20070059674
Abstract: A computer-readable recording medium having stored a recommended exhibition booth selection program that can determine the areas of interest of an individual user appropriately and can plan optimum booths to be visited at an exhibition. A learned-content-based interest judgment unit calculates a score indicating the degree of user's interest in each field, depending on what the user has learnt in the field. Then, an exhibition-booth-based interest judgment unit judges the field of content shown at each exhibition booth, sums up scores concerning the learning experience in the field, and calculates a score indicating the degree of user's interest in the exhibition booth. A recommended exhibition booth selection unit selects an exhibition booth having a high score with priority as a visit destination and creates a recommended exhibition booth list for the user.

  • Patent number: 6595818
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electrode for the use of a spark plus is provided, in which a laser welding process is adopted. In the laser welding process, a tip (2a) is laser-welded to a center electrode (2) of a spark plug (1) at N (e.g., N=8) spots on the tip (2a). Practically, two laser radiation apparatuses (10, 11) are disposed around the tip (2a) at two positions mutually shifted by an angle of “180-360/N (=135 degrees).” Laser beams are radiated by the two radiation apparatuses (10, 11) so that a pair of selected two spots are simultaneously laser-welded (i.e., one welding process). When an even-numbered time of welding process is performed, two spots to be welded are shifted from the last two spots laser-welded in the last odd-numbered time of welding process, and welded simultaneously by the two laser beams.
