  • Publication number: 20100131133
Abstract: The present invention is about an unmanned boat automatic survey device and an unmanned boat automatic surveying method that automatically generate survey routes and automatically survey underwater and water bottom conditions under the survey routes. Under the present invention, a reference survey line is entered for generating a survey route (S1), and a plurality of survey routes are generated by translating the reference survey line at a fixed distance (S2). It then determines the distances of the generated survey routes and instructs a traversing order of the determined survey routes (S3), and causes the unmanned boat to navigate automatically according to the instructed traversing order. It surveys at least underwater or water bottom condition during the navigation (S5), and display and store the surveyed underwater or water bottom condition (S6).

  • Patent number: 7473113
Abstract: A plug and socket electrical connection for environments with high humidity and low temperatures has a socket with female connections (holes with an electrical terminals), a circular recess for receiving a mating part and tabs and a plug with a male connection (electrodes), the mating part and hooks. The electrical connections are protected from moisture by a snug fit and o-rings when the socket and the plug are electrically connected and the tabs and hooks hold the socket and plug together in place. The socket and plug are disconnected by movement of a handle holding the hooks that is part of the plug and can act as a lever to help the disconnection. The handle also provides a convenient finger hold for pulling the plug away from the socket.

  • Patent number: 7393223
Abstract: An electrical mounting connector for a bi-pin fluorescent bulb has a lamp holder with two terminals and a cap with two pin guiding openings that snaps into the lamp holder such that two pins held in the two pin guiding openings will be held in contact with the two pin-shaped over a substantial portion of the pins along a parallel length of the pins. An alignment marking is provided on the lamp holder and a visual inspection point (such as a hole) is provided on the cap that compliment one another to provide a visual indication of when the lamp holder and the cap are properly assembled together. A drain is formed by one or more slots in the lamp holder to drain a space between the lamp holder and the cap accessed through pin guiding openings when the lamp holder and the cap are properly assembled together.

  • Patent number: 6923760
Abstract: An endoscopic cleaning device capable of properly removing wet cerumen from an auditory canal while the interior of an auditory canal is illuminated. The device allows an image of the interior of the auditory canal to be acquired while the auditory canal is being cleaned. The device has an ear picking main body that also serves as a light guide to provide the illumination. The ear picking main body rotates about a light guide containing the micro lens used to acquire the image, so that the image remains stable. The ear picking main body is inserted through a removable, elastically deformable tubular ear picking part having a through hole and an outer layer made of fibrous material. In this way light can be delivered to the end of the ear picking main body, and the fibrous material of the ear picking part can be used to remove wet cerumen.
