Abstract: A centralized supervisory supervises a plurality of network equipments connected to each other by lines based on performance data indicating operation states of the plurality of network equipments. The system includes a central supervisory device, and a medium supervisory system provided between the central supervisory device and the plurality of network equipments. The central supervisory device includes a command output unit for outputting a control command regarding gathering of the performance data, and a status table having state data indicating states of the respective network equipments.

Abstract: The fault occurrence statuses of each device being monitored and the intermediate monitoring device under which the devices at which faults have occurred are stored in a table, and when the desired screen is selected and displayed based on a map information file, the number of collected faults of each of the devices displayed on the selected screen is displayed in accordance with the above-noted fault occurrence status table. In addition, the invention has a verification status table into which is stored the information as to whether or not detailed fault information for the devices being monitored has been verified, with correspondence established with respect to the upstream intermediate monitoring devices, and displays whether or not faults of each of the devices at each of the heirarchical levels of the network have or have not been verified, in accordance with this verification status table.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a fault indication system in a centralized monitoring system for monitoring multiple devices speedily identifies and indicates a fault which is occurring, to improve maintenance of the monitored devices. The fault indication system includes multiple devices to be monitored, hierarchical multiple intermediate monitoring devices and a centralized monitoring device. The multiple devices to be monitored are connected to the centralized monitoring device via the hierarchical multiple intermediate monitoring devices. The centralized monitoring device is provided with time management tables corresponding to each of the multiple devices to be monitored and the hierarchical multiple intermediate monitoring devices. Information indicating the latest fault occurrence is recorded in the time management tables.
