  • Publication number: 20230132855
Abstract: An apparatus for testing a Lidar sensor includes a Lidar sensor platform, a target board including at least one vertically elongate surface facing in a direction of the Lidar sensor platform, and a base unit configured to position the target board to obtain a desired reflective property of the target board relative to an incident light scan emitted by a Lidar sensor mounted to the Lidar sensor platform during a target emulation test of the Lidar sensor.

  • Publication number: 20220260714
Abstract: An apparatus automatically positions an optical test module relative to a Lidar sensor during a target simulation test of the Lidar sensor. The apparatus includes a sensor platform configured to support a Lidar sensor, and a test module platform configured to support an optical test module such that an optical window of the optical test module faces in a direction towards the Lidar sensor supported by the sensor platform.

  • Patent number: 8260343
Abstract: An electronic device may include a printed circuit board and a speaker box defining an acoustic volume between spaced apart first and second speaker box walls with the first speaker box wall being between the second speaker box wall and the printed circuit board. A loudspeaker may be coupled to the first speaker box wall, and the loudspeaker may include an acoustic actuator that is configured to generate displacements in response to an electrical signal applied thereto. The loudspeaker may further include a speaker membrane that is mechanically coupled to the acoustic actuator and that is configured to deflect in directions toward and away from the second speaker box wall responsive to displacements of the acoustic actuator. Related assemblies and methods are also discussed.

  • Patent number: 7750256
Abstract: A rotary switch assembly (100; 200) is disclosed. The assembly may include a dial assembly (102; 202) having a main body (150; 250) disposed about a centre aperture (132; 232). The main body may be rotatable about a central axis (126; 226) in both a clockwise (106; 206) and counter clockwise direction (108; 208). The dial assembly includes a projecting member (138; 238) extending outward from the main body. The assembly includes a switch (114; 214) having an actuator (156; 256) moveable between a first position (158; 258) and a second position (160; 260). The actuator is positioned such that when the dial assembly is rotated clockwise, the projecting member moves the actuator to the first position, and when rotated counter clockwise, the projecting member moves the actuator to the second position.
