  • Patent number: 5714227
Abstract: Tubular parison of a molten resin to such an extent as to melt undergoes a pre-blow with a blow molding apparatus, whereupon the blown tubular parison is clamped between dies of a blow molding apparatus, and also, is mutually weld together with parts of the inside faces of the tubular parison to form a multiple of isolated hollows in the parison. Gas is fed through a multiple of gas feed nozzles which are provided in the die into the hollow portions. A number of the hollow portions are opened in a second process to form a functional part.

  • Patent number: 5527581
Abstract: The car interior member and its molding method are offered to improve recycling and to reduce the number of parts. The instrument panel 10 as the car interior member is made by molding integrally the core member 11 organizing the main structure of certain area of car interior and the functional member 12, 13, 14 having particular function and attached to the core member 11 by the blow molding. On the occasion of then, the number of parts can be more reduced when the base layer arranging the most inside and the foamed layer and the surface layer arranging outside of the base layer are effected by the multilayer blow molding in case of the instrument panel 10 formed with the multi-layer construction.

  • Patent number: 5486561
Abstract: There is disclosed a polypropylene resin composition which comprises (a) polypropylene; (b) ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer elastomer having a specific range of Mooney viscosity; (c) modified polyolefin having a specific functioal group at either or both end thereof; and (d) specific compound such as stearic acid monoglyceride, stearyl diethanolamine, N-diethanol stearylamide and N-diethanol dodecanaeamide. The above composition is excellent in elasticity, peeling strength and recoating properties, can be painted immediately after degreasing without pretreatment with trichloroethane, etc. and is well suited for polypropylene bumper materials to be painted, etc.

  • Patent number: 5425926
Abstract: In the process of coating a molded article of an olefinic resin, a finishing coating layer is formed on the surface of the molded article of an olefinic resin prepared by mixing a resin composition containing (E) polypropylene and (F) an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer with (G) a modified polyolefin in which a specific group is introduced, (H) stearic acid monoglyceride or stearyl diethanolamine, and (I) an inorganic filler, with a coating material prepared by mixing the main material containing a copolymer obtained by copolymerization of (A) a chlorinated polyolefin, (B) an acrylic monomer having hydroxyl group, and (C) a polyester prepolymer as the main component thereof with (D) a multi-functional polyisocyanate compound as the curing agent in a single coating process without pretreatment of the surface of the molded article using an organic solvent containing a halogen and without coating the surface of the molded article with a primer as undercoat.

  • Patent number: 4559484
Abstract: A stop-position controlling device for an electric windshield wiper is disclosed, which comprises an oscillation means for a wiper blade and a switch mechanism provide with armature shortcircuiting contacts for forcedly stopping the wiper blade at a predetermined position under a turn-off state of a wiper switch. In this device, the armature shortcircuiting contacts are shifted at plural positions for forcedly stopping the wiper motor at different positions and a turnover means is further arranged therefor, or a contact moving means is disposed for displacing the armature shortcircuiting contacts to plural positions.
