  • Publication number: 20240035935
Abstract: A fine-particle sampling device includes a first electrode having a shape of a tube and having first and second openings located at first and second ends of the tube, respectively, in an axial direction; a second electrode extending in the axial direction in the first electrode to be spaced apart from an inner surface of the first electrode; a third electrode extending in the axial direction in the first electrode to be spaced apart from the inner surface, the third electrode being thicker than the second electrode and being at a position that differs from the position of the second electrode in the axial direction; a supplier that supplies a liquid to the inside of the first electrode and causes the liquid to be stored at a portion of the inner surface in a direction around the axis of the first electrode; a voltage applicator that applies a first voltage to a gap between the first and second electrodes and a second voltage to a gap between the first and third electrodes; a driver that causes the first elect

  • Publication number: 20230075047
Abstract: A collection device including a container into which exhaled air containing target objects is introduced, a cooler that reduces a temperature of the exhaled air introduced into the container to generate droplets containing the target object, and a rotating body that is provided in the container and that rotates. The rotating body includes first blades that project in directions crossing a rotation axis X of rotating body. The first blades each have a filter that captures the droplets.

  • Publication number: 20220326135
Abstract: A fine-particle sampling device for sampling fine particles in a liquid includes a tubular first electrode whose both ends in an axial direction thereof are open; a second electrode extending in the axial direction of the first electrode and disposed in the inside of the first electrode to be spaced from an inner surface of the first electrode; a supplier that supplies a liquid to the inside of the first electrode and causes the liquid to be stored at a portion of the inner surface in a direction around an axis B of the first electrode; a voltage applicator that applies a voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode; a driver that rotates the first electrode around a rotational axis extending in the axial direction of the first electrode and passing through the inside of the first electrode; and a retriever that retrieves the stored liquid.

  • Patent number: 11285418
Abstract: An air purifying apparatus includes a humidity controller and an intake cooling separator including one or more shafts and an outer wall. The intake cooling separator generates airflow to obtain the humidity-controlled air. The intake cooling separator swirls the obtained air around a first shaft included in the one or more shafts, thereby generating a pressure difference between air included in the obtained air and around the first shaft and air included in the obtained air and around the outer wall, and the pressure difference cools at least a part of the obtained air, and the pressure difference cools at least a part of the obtained air. The intake cooling separator performs centrifugal separation of water droplets generated from the cooled air. The one or more shafts are rotated to generate the airflow, to cause the swirl, and to perform the centrifugal separation.

  • Publication number: 20210331113
Abstract: A particulate collector includes a housing having an air intake port and an exhaust port and a flow channel, in the housing, connecting the two ports, a fan rotatable about an R-axis to generate airflow in the flow channel, a spray unit that sprays first liquid into a first portion in the flow channel, a first filter located between the first portion and the exhaust port and supported rotatably about the R-axis, a power source that rotates the first filter, a first collection port for collecting a first particulate covered with liquid contained in the first liquid from the flow channel through a second portion in the first filter, and a second collection port for collecting a second particulate covered with liquid contained in the first liquid from the flow channel through a third portion in the first filter. The second portion is located between the first and third portions.
