    Abstract: A driving signal generation unit outputs one of an ON gate voltage for turning on a semiconductor element and an OFF gate voltage for turning off to a gate. A gate threshold voltage estimation unit calculates an estimation value of a gate threshold voltage of the semiconductor element, based on state information of the semiconductor element acquired when the semiconductor element is in an OFF state and in a reverse conducting state in which a reverse conducting element is energized.
