    Abstract: Percutaneously absorbable preparations which comprise, by weight, 0.001 to 20%, preferably 0.1 to 20%, of 3-l-menthoxy-propane-1,2-diol as a solubilizer for a drug and 0.001 to 20%, preferably 0.5 to 10%, of the drug as two essential ingredients, the balance being other ingredients as adjuvants selected from water-soluble polymers, monohydric alcohols, polyhydric alcohols, rosin esters, water, fatty acid esters, hydrocarbons, softening agents, emulsifying agents. The preparations are in the forms of poultice, plasters, ointments, gels, creams, gel-like creams, lotions, reserver patches, liniments, aerosols and may be used in packs.
