    Abstract: There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material comprising a silver halide emulsion of high-silver chloride emulsion wherein a thiosulfonic compound represented by formula (I) and a sulfinic acid compound represented by formula (II) are added in the step of the production of said emulsion followed by sulfur sensitization. The disclosure described provides a silver halide color photographic material less in fogging due to the lapse of time after preparation of the emulsion for coating and less in fogging due to rapid development processing.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material having (A) a red-sensitive, (B) a green-sensitive, and (C) a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, wherein the silver halide emulsion of each layer is a high-silver-chloride emulsion, and the silver halide emulsions of the red-sensitive and blue-sensitive layers is spectrally sensitized in the blue light region within a range satisfying specific relationships. Further two or more silver halide emulsions are mixed so that the gammas of the (A) red-sensitive and the (B) green-sensitive layers in the photosensitive region of the blue-sensitive layer may be in a limited range. The disclosure as described provides a silver halide color photographic material which can form a color image giving a stereoscopic feeling that can reproduce bright primary colors less in turbidity over the range from the low-density part to the high-density part, and which can produce fully the high-density region of primary colors with subtle shades.

    Abstract: A color image-forming process of developing a color photographic paper having on a support silver halide emulsion layer(s) containing a monodispersed silver chlorobromide emulsion having a deviation coefficient of not more than 20% and a color coupler, said emulsion being spectrally sensitized by at least one of the compounds represented by general formulae (I), (II), (III) and (IV) defined in this invention, using a color developer containing substantially no benzyl alcohol for a period of time of not more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.In processing the aforesaid color photographic paper, even when the color paper is procesed using a color developer containing no benzyl alcohol, which caused pollution problems, in a short processing time of not more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds, stable color images having less formation of fog and high color density are obtained.
