  • Patent number: 11171825
Abstract: Various embodiments provision resources of a large-scale enterprise network for a first user. The large-scale enterprise network has a multiplicity of resources and users. The actions of users of the network are monitored to determine resource usage history and current resource usage of all resources for each user. A resource usage frequency is determined for all resources used by the first user. A set of related users is created by identifying users grouped with the first user in a common user group. At least one resource usage configuration for the first user is predicted based on the resource usage history, current resource usage, and resource usage frequency of the first user and resource usage history and current usage of each of the related users. A computing device of the first user is provisioned according to the predicted resource usage configuration.

  • Patent number: 10915819
Abstract: A method is disclosed including presenting a concept to a user via one or more presentation devices and monitoring the user's response to the presentation of the concept by a sensing device. The sensing device may generate sensor data based on the monitored user's response. The method further includes determining based on the sensor data generated by the sensor that the user requires clarification of the presented concept. In response to determining that the user requires clarification of the presented concept, the method further includes identifying an analogy that is configured to clarify the presented concept and presenting the identified analogy to the user via one or more of the presentation devices.

  • Patent number: 10681157
Abstract: Intelligent management of user interface and device sensed events is provided. Discrete events generated through interactions between a user and a machine are monitored, the interaction performed via a user interface associated with an application running on the machine, the discrete events stored by sessions in a storage device local to the machine as event logs. Network connection pattern of the machine with a server device is determined. Storage constraints of the storage device are determined based on the monitoring and the network connection pattern. The event logs are compacted by progressively summarizing the discrete events on dynamically adjusted segments of the sessions. The compacted event logs are transmitted to the server device responsive to determining that a network connection between the machine and the server device is available.

  • Patent number: 10226714
Abstract: A system of interlocking smart bricks includes a shell having at least one raised protrusion and at least one hole. A plurality of sensors is disposed within the shell. Each sensor is configured to detect a proximity of additional smart bricks. A processor receives proximity detection data from the plurality of sensors. A radio transmitter transmits the proximity detection data to a host device. The host device receives the proximity detection data, determines an arrangement of the shell therefrom, compares the determined arrangement of the shell with a known target arrangement, determines a degree of match between the arrangement of the shell and the known target arrangement based on the comparison, and authenticates a user to one of a plurality of authentication levels based on the degree of match.

  • Patent number: 9756552
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for reducing distractions caused by user devices are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes processing items of activity arising from user devices within a group setting, wherein each device is associated with a participating user of the group setting and coupled to a distinct status indicator that designates the corresponding user device as engaging in distracting activity or not engaging in distracting activity. The method also includes comparing each of the items of activity to a collection of user device usage policies for the group setting that identifies context-dependent items of activity arising that serve as a distraction within the group setting. Also, the method includes generating a signal to modify the status indicator of at least one of the user devices corresponding to an item of activity deemed as serving as a distraction, and transmitting the signal to the given user devices.
