The spiro compound has a structure as represented by formula (I). The spiro compound of the present invention has good thermal stability. An organic electroluminescent diode manufactured by using the spiro compound of the present invention as an organic functional layer, especially as a light-emitting layer, has improved current efficiency and a reduced turn-on voltage, and the service life of the organic electroluminescent diode is also greatly prolonged.
