Abstract: A household appliance includes a housing surrounding an accommodation space and a door pivotable relative to the housing between a closing state in which the door closes a loading opening of the accommodation space and an opening state in which the door is retracted into a stowing area in the housing. A guide device is coupled to the door to guide the door during movement into and out of the stowing area. The guide device includes a bearing unit configured as a multi-articulated device which is mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation and includes guide elements. The multi-articulated device is configured such that a distance of the guide elements from one another and/or a distance of at least one of the guide elements to the axis of rotation is changeable depending on a position of the door.

Abstract: A domestic appliance includes a housing having an accommodating space and a door arranged pivotably to the housing so as to be movable to a closed state in which a loading opening of the accommodating space of the housing is closeable and an opened state in which the door is lowered in a stowage space in the housing. A guiding device is coupled to the door to guide a movement of the door into and out of the stowage space. The guiding device includes a supporting unit which is mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation and includes a supporting bracket, and guiding elements which are mounted rotatably on the supporting bracket. The supporting bracket has a displacement slot defined by a varying radius and configured to rotate the supporting bracket about the axis of rotation with a rotational movement which deviates from a segment of a circular path.

Abstract: A switching device includes a movable switching element and an electrical switch in operative connection to the switching element. The switching element is operable to selectively separate the operative connection between the switching element and the electrical switch. The interaction between the switching element and the electrical switch can be blocked. Also, an arrangement for detecting at least two different positions of a mobile door element is provided, wherein an interaction between the door element and the switching element can also be blocked. The inventive arrangement and switching device are especially suitable for using in household appliances such as electrical refrigerators or cooking appliances.
