  • Patent number: 9394001
Abstract: A diagonal strut device (1) for reinforcing arrangement on an undercarriage of a motor vehicle. A plurality of struts (2) made from a fiber-reinforced plastic composite material extend away from a central joint element (3). Each strut (2) can be connected to the undercarriage via this from the end facing away from the central joint element (3). For this, a connecting joint element (4) is arranged on the end of each strut (2) facing away from the central joint element (3), wherein the central joint element (3) and the connecting joint elements (4) are formed from a light metal material. The central joint element (3) and the connecting joint elements (4) are then connected to the struts (2) by an at least positive connection. The central joint element (3) and the connecting joint elements (4) are each formed from several individual elements joined together.

  • Publication number: 20140193192
Abstract: A method for the production of a connecting structure for a motor vehicle involves inserting two profile elements, connected to one another by a plastic joint element, into a tool and hardening in the tool. A fiber semi-finished product with respective receivers for corresponding connecting regions of the profile elements is produced. The connecting regions of the profile elements are connected to the respective receivers of the fiber semi-finished product. • Publication number: 20070131012
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hybrid component comprising a sheet-metal metal body and a plastic body injection-molded onto the sheet-metal body. The sheet-metal body is produced by cutting, edging, stamping and/or plastic forming a plate-shaped metal sheet, and has a surface coating on at least one visible side, as well as at least one uncoated cut or stamped edge. The plastic body is injection-molded so that it seals the at least one uncoated or stamped edge of the sheet metal body and stiffens the sheet metal body.

  • Publication number: 20070125454
Abstract: The invention concerns a steel for lightweight construction, consisting of a multiphase structure. In the case of a duplex steel, it consists of mixed ferrite (?) and austenite (?) crystals. In the case of a triplex steel, it comprises, additioally to said two phases, martensitic (?) and/or (?) phases. The volumetric weight of the inventive steel is low as a result of the high proportion of light alloys A1, Si Mn, Mg, Ga and Be. The inventive alloys have a volumetric weight of less than 7b/cm3.

  • Patent number: 7147738
Abstract: A process for producing a component with an inner fabric includes layering at least two layers of fabric one on top of the other. A layer of plastic in powder form or sheet form is introduced between respective pairs of neighboring layers of fabric. The plastic has a melting point corresponding to at most the melting point and/or the decomposing temperature of the fabric layers. The fabric layers and plastic layer are heated and pressed at a pressure greater than atmospheric pressure, during which the plastic layer is at least partially melted. After reaching the desired final form, the partially-melted plastic is cooled, thereby bonding the fabric layers to one another. The cooled plastic is arranged between the layers of fabric and, in particular, at least partially between the fibers of the fabric layers.
