  • Patent number: 7286220
Abstract: A test piece for an optoelectronic image analysis systems is disclosed. One embodiment has a planar substrate, on which a plurality of geometrical patterns of differing shapes and/or sizes are arranged in a durable, predetermined surface coverage. The geometrical patterns contrast optically against the substrate. The surface coverage of geometrical patterns on the substrate is provided such that an overlapping of the geometrical patterns is avoided. In addition, a method of fabrication of a test piece is provided, in which a metal film is deposited on a glass/ceramic substrate, subsequently the metal film is exposed according to a predetermined pattern, and finally the film is etched to create the geometrical pattern on the glass/ceramic substrate.

  • Publication number: 20060231121
Abstract: A method for low-pressure spray cleaning and residual contaminant analysis of components includes providing a receiver tank filled with flushing medium, pressurizing the receiver tank with compressed air on the inlet side, transmitting the pressurized flushing medium to a spray lance, spray cleaning a component by spraying the flushing medium from the spray lance, collecting the particle-containing flushing medium after the spray cleaning in a collection tank, providing an inline analysis filter positioned on an outflow side of the collection tank in such a way that particle-containing flushing medium flows through it, filtering the particles out of the flushing medium using the analysis filter, and finally analyzing the residual contamination filtered out by the analysis filter. A low-pressure spray module suitable for use with this method is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20040020779
Abstract: A method and a device are described for producing a galvanic layer having a defined spatial extent on an electrically conductive substrate surface having any shaped contour at all. In this context, an electrolyte jet from a nozzle is applied to the substrate, and a current flows between the nozzle and the substrate surface essentially via the electrolyte jet. The device is provided with a pump for delivering an electrolyte from an electrolyte reservoir to the nozzle and for producing an electrolyte jet directed at the substrate surface. Moreover, the device has a reactor in which are arranged the substrate to be coated, as well as the nozzle. The substrate and the nozzle are connected to a direct current source, and a configuration of the substrate and of the nozzle in the reactor is variable during the coating process.
