  • Publication number: 20250214467
Abstract: A wireless charger for charging a high-voltage (HV) battery of a vehicle, comprising a coil configured for wirelessly receiving an oscillating magnetic field from an external transmitter, thereby creating an alternating current (AC), a ferrite arranged adjacent to the coil, cooling channels arranged adjacent to at least one of the ferrite and the coil, the cooling channels configured for providing a flow of coolant, electric components configured for charging the HV battery based on the AC, a metal cover separating the coil and the ferrite from the electric components, at least one of the electric components being arranged adjacent to the metal cover, wherein the wireless charger further comprises an electrically non-conductive part configured for forming the cooling channels at least in part and separating the coil and the ferrite from the metal cover.

  • Patent number: 12286015
Abstract: Powertrain, including an inverter unit, inverter housing, electric motor, electric motor housing, and a reducing gear. The inverter unit having an inverter configured for converting direct current to alternating current. The inverter housing defining an inverter housing interior volume accommodating the inverter. The reducing gear unit has a reducing gear and a reducing gear cover surrounding the reducing gear. The reducing gear defines an output reducing gear axis that is parallel to the motor axis. The reducing gear cover and the inverter housing are arranged at opposite ends of the electric motor with respect to the motor axis. The inverter housing includes a cut-out that defines a cut-out region fully contained within a convex hull of the inverter housing, wherein the cut-out region is disjoint from the inverter housing interior volume. The output reducing gear axis passes through the cut-out region without passing through the inverter housing interior volume.
