A clasp element is mounted within the clasp element accessible through the open rear. A pendant securement to the clasp element is accomplished through the bottom opening. The clasp element may take various forms including a deflectable hook, a fixed pin, a slotted clevis, etc., with a catch engagement keeping the pendant securement on the clasp element until released.
