Abstract: A silver halide photographic material is disclosed, which has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, said silver halide emulsion layer containing a latex which has been stabilized by a protective colloid which is at least one substance selected from among natural water-soluble polymers, derivatives thereof, and synthetic hydrophilic polymers having at least one nonionic group and at least one anionic group in the molecular structure.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic material containing at least one of couplers represented by the general formula [I] and at least one of the compounds represented by the general formula [XII] is disclosed. ##STR1## wherein Z is a group of nonmetal atoms necessary to complete a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring where the ring formed by Z may be substituted; X is a hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of being released upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent and R is a hydrogen atom or substituent; ##STR2## wherein R.sub.21 is a hydrogen atom or a group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group and aryl group, R.sub.22 and R.sub.23 are independently selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group and an aryl group.The photographic material provides a dye-image highly stable against heat and light, and a formation of stain at a non-image area is prevented.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing a 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-c]-s-triazole type magenta coupler is disclosed. The magenta coupler has an --SO.sub.2 -- group and at least one group selected from the group consisting of a --COOM group and a --SO.sub.3 M group, M being a hydrogen atom or a cation, in its molecule. The photographic material is improved in color development performance and preservability of magenta images.

Abstract: Silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having a plurality of silver halide emulsion layers which are sensitive to the same spectral region and having different speeds and at least one light-sensitive layer comprising a nondiffusible coupler, which upon reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent is capable of forming a nondiffusible dye, wherein the silver halide emulsion layer having the greatest speed of said plurality of silver halide emulsion layers sensitive to a particular spectral region contains a nondiffusible coupler which, upon reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent, is capable of producing a moveable dye, and a silver halide emulsion having a speed slower than said fastest speed layer contains a nondiffusible compound which, upon reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent, is capable of releasing a development inhibitor material.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material is disclosed. The material contains a photographic magenta coupler of formula (I) and a phenolic compound of formula (II) within a silver halide emulsion layer: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each an alkyl group or an aryl group; Z is a hydrogen atom or a group that can be eliminated upon coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent); ##STR2## (wherein R.sub.3 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group or an amino group; R.sub.4 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom; s is an integer of 0 to 2, provided that when s is 2, R.sub.4 may be the same or different).

Abstract: In a vane pump of the type comprising a rotor including radially slidable vanes, a cam ring accommodating the rotor, a front body and a rear body secured to both sides of the cam ring for defining pump chambers together with the cam ring, there is provided an intermediate body having an inner opening for accommodating the cam ring. The intermediate body is disposed between the front and rear bodies, and a portion of the inner opening is bulged outwardly to form a fluid passage for conveying operating fluid from the body to the rear.

Abstract: A process for forming a dye image is disclosed which comprises processing an image-wise exposed silver halide photographic emulsion with an aromatic primary amine color developing agent in the presence of bis pyrazolines obtained by reacting 3-acylamino-5-pyrazolones with para-hydroxybenzaldehydes having at least one of the ortho positions to the hydroxy group substituted with a member selected from halogen, alkyl, aryl, amino or amido groups. The invention includes the present dye forming coupler alone and combined with the silver halide emulsion layer.

Abstract: A compound represented by the general formula A-Q (wherein A represents a yellow dye image-forming coupler residue having the active methylene group from which one hydrogen atom has been replaced and Q represents a tetrazolyl group substituted at the 5-position with hydrogen, a halogen, a cyano, an alkyl, an aralkyl, an aryl, an alkyl-amino or an arylamino group) is used as a yellow dye image-forming coupler for obtaining yellow dye images that have good spectral absorption characteristics, and good stability to prolonged exposure to light, heat and high humidity.
