  • Patent number: 8375772
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to improve the accuracy in analysis repeatability of a liquid chromatography apparatus that feeds different eluent by use of a plurality of pumps and achieves the mixture of eluent. Each of the pumps includes means for notifying an automatic sampler and a higher-level control unit that the specified timing of a liquid feeding cycle is reached. A pump whose liquid feeding cycle is the slowest transmits own information so that analysis is synchronized with a liquid feeding cycle. Moreover, a cycle position of a liquid feeding cycle at the end of analysis is expected, and the analysis time is automatically adjusted so that the wait time until the start of the next analysis becomes the shortest.

  • Publication number: 20110302997
Abstract: A liquid chromatograph apparatus capable of eliminating a deviation of measurement results originating from an instrumental error is provided. According to the present invention, a mobile phase arrival time T of the liquid chromatograph apparatus is determined in advance. The mobile phase arrival time T is a time taken for a mobile phase mixed by a pump to reach a detector. When operating the liquid chromatograph apparatus, sample injection into the mobile phase is started after a time corresponding to the mobile phase arrival time T passes. Collection of data output from the detector is started after a predetermined time passes after starting the sample injection into the mobile phase.

  • Patent number: 7787120
Abstract: Detection sensitivity is improved by increasing the amount of light of beams that irradiate a sample cell without causing saturation of a detector with ultraviolet beams or visible beams. This spectrophotometer includes a sample cell, which stores a sample to be measured, a visible light source and an ultraviolet light source each for supplying an incident beam that enters the sample, a spectroscope, which disperses a beam that has passed through the sample, an optical detector, which detects beams dispersed from such beam (spectrum), and a dichroic element which reflects or transmits ultraviolet beams from the ultraviolet light source and which transmits or reflects visible beams from the visible light source. Optics are configured such that ultraviolet beams and visible beams that have passed through or have been reflected by the dichroic element enter the sample cell.

  • Publication number: 20090150091
Abstract: There is provided a user interface which enables all users to input a purpose of use of a chromatography data system, recognize a series of operation flow of the analysis of chromatograph data according to the input purpose, improve an operability and prevent an operation error regardless of the user's knowledge on analyzing the chromatograph data or the user's proficiency in the chromatography data system. In a chromatograph data processing, the present invention relates to recognizing chromatograph data analyzing means on a picture and displaying the chromatograph data analyzing means on the picture in accordance with purpose of use. According to the present invention, the chromatography data system can be easily operated regardless of the knowledge on the analysis of chromatograph data or proficiency in the chromatography data system.
