Abstract: A printing apparatus includes: a printing part having an installment part in which a cartridge usable for printing an image is installable, the printing part being configured to print the image on a print medium and configured to move to an exchange position in a scanning direction; and a processing unit having a processing part configured to move while making contact with the print medium, which has the image printed thereon by the printing part, to thereby perform a processing of the print medium, at least a part of the processing unit being positioned at a standby position which is shifted in the scanning direction with respect to the exchange position in a case that the cartridge is installed or detached with respect to the printing part.

Abstract: There is provided a printing apparatus including: a casing, an opening/closing part, a printing part, a processing unit and a shielding part. The casing has an opening. The opening/closing part is movable to a first position to a second position. The printing part has an installment part and prints an image on a print medium. The processing unit is arranged on a downstream side in a conveyance direction, of the print medium, with respect to the printing part and processes the print medium. The shielding part shields at least a part of the processing unit. When the opening/closing part is at the second position, the opening is capable of releasing a location above the installment part or a part, of the installment part. When the opening/closing part is at the second position, the shielding part shields at least the part of the processing unit.

Abstract: There is provided a printing apparatus including: a housing including a wall with an opening; a mounting section configured to allow a cartridge to be mounted through the opening; a head with a nozzle to eject a liquid; a processing unit including a processing section configured to process a print medium; and a head carriage holding the mounting section and the head. The processing unit is located upstream of the head carriage in a conveyance direction of the print medium, the conveyance direction being a direction in which the print medium passes through a support facing the head.

Abstract: An image recording apparatus includes a housing, an operation panel, a sheet conveyor, a recording device, and a cutting device. The operation panel is disposed at a first-side face of the housing in a first direction. The first direction is orthogonal to a vertical direction and extends from a first side to a second side of the image recording apparatus. In the first direction, the cutting device is closer to the first side of the image recording apparatus than the recording device is and closer to the second side of the image recording apparatus than the operation panel is. The cutting device includes a cutter, and a cutter carriage to move with the cutter mounted thereon along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and the vertical direction. The operation panel overlaps a movable area of the cutter carriage when viewed in the first direction.
