    Abstract: Provided is an air cleaning system including: an ozone generation unit that generates ozone gas; and a discharge unit that atomizes or vaporizes an aqueous alcohol solution and discharges the aqueous alcohol solution. A mole fraction of an alcohol included in the aqueous alcohol solution with respect to the aqueous alcohol solution is 0.05 or more and 0.35 or less. A hydroxyl radical is generated through a reaction of the ozone gas with the aqueous alcohol solution that has been atomized or vaporized.
