  • Patent number: 11155011
Abstract: A method and assembly for injection molding a part. The injection molding assembly has a frame and a core back assembly on the frame with a material controlling region. The core back assembly has first and second states with the material controlling region: i) in a first position with the core back assembly in the first state; and ii) in a second position with the core back assembly in the second state. First and second mold units are configured to be placed in operative relationship on the frame wherein the first and second mold units cooperate to form a mold cavity on the frame. The frame, core back assembly, and first and second mold units are configured so that the state of the core back assembly is changed as an incident of the first and second mold units being placed in the operative relationship.

  • Patent number: 9944488
Abstract: A sheet processing apparatus includes a first binding unit configured to bind a sheet bundle; a second binding unit with greater number of bindable sheets than number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit; and a number-of-sheets determining unit configured to determine whether number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit. The first binding unit moves to a binding position, and if the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the first binding unit moves away from the binding position. When the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the second binding unit moves to the binding position.

  • Patent number: 7581015
Abstract: When a data transfer request is received, a transmitting-side NIC generates an RDMA packet from transfer data and speculatively transmits it without inquiring the transfer destination about presence of reception permission. If reception of a receiving area is unpermitted, the RDMA packet is retransmitted when a retransmission request is received from the transfer destination. When transfer unpermission is determined by referencing transfer area control information upon packet reception, a receiving-side NIC discards the received packet and, if transfer permission is determined thereafter, transmits a retransmission request, thereby transferring it. If reception is unpermitted, that may be notified to the transmission source, thereby ceasing the transfer.
