  • Publication number: 20220003592
Abstract: A weight measurement device comprises: an upper surface cover on which a measurement target is placed; a load cell to detect weight of the measurement target placed on the upper surface cover; a bridge to support the load cell; a receiving member to receive the weight of the measurement target placed on the upper surface cover; and a bottom surface cover provided on a lower surface side of the receiving member, and further comprises a sliding part provided between the lower surface of the receiving member and an upper surface of the bottom surface cover to enable the receiving member to move in a horizontal direction relative to the bottom cover. The bridge comprises a pivot which is a fulcrum to make it possible to change inclination of the bridge relative to the bottom surface cover and is in contact with an upper surface of the receiving member.

  • Publication number: 20160097762
Abstract: A gas measurement apparatus includes: a body unit including a delivery port in which a user's breath is delivered, a gas sensor connected to the inside of the delivery port, and an absorbent housing unit that houses an absorbent; a cover unit capable of being operated to be slid in a predetermined direction with respect to the body unit and thereby being set to one of an open state in which the delivery port and the absorbent housing unit are exposed and a closed state in which the delivery port and the absorbent housing unit are cut off from an outside air, wherein at least in the closed state, a space in which the gas sensor is provided and the inside of the absorbent housing unit are connected to each other.

  • Publication number: 20140291042
Abstract: A flexure element used for weight measurement includes a load-applied part to which load is applied, a supported part supported by a supporter, and a flexure part connected to the load-applied part and the supported part, strain gauges being attached to the flexure part. The load-applied part, the supported part, and the flexure part include surfaces that lie on the same plane. The thickness of the flexure part is less than the thickness of the load-applied part and the thickness of the supported part. The flexure part has a recess at a side opposite to the plane, the recess being located between the load-applied part and the supported part.

  • Patent number: 8030582
Abstract: A body weighing machine (100) is provided with a distance measuring sensor (30) at the central position (C) of a base plate unit (50). A CPU (10) measures the body weight of a human subject. The CPU (10) then drives the distance measuring sensor (30) to measure a distance (Dm) between the sensor and a floor surface and determines whether a minimum distance (D) between the base plate unit (50) and the floor surface is zero. The CPU (10) displays via a display unit (15) a message indicating that an error has occurred in a case in which the minimum distance (D) is zero, and otherwise displays the measured body weight on the display unit (15).
