  • Publication number: 20150281010
Abstract: An information management method includes collecting log information of one or more home electrical apparatuses, generating display screen data indicating a status of the log information of the apparatuses corresponding service providers based on the collected log information, where the display screen data includes groups of information each contain information on an apparatus, a service provider corresponding to the apparatus, and log information output from the apparatus, and provision of the log information of each group is individually selectable, providing the display screen data via a network to a display terminal that performs access to a server device, receiving information from the display terminal, which indicates that selection on whether or not provision of the log information is performed, and stopping provision of the log information on the selected group when a determination is made that the refusal of provision of the log information on the selected group is performed.

  • Patent number: 9009216
Abstract: A server device which makes a function equivalent to its own function available on an old-generation client device inferior in functionality includes a request receiving unit which receives from the client device a request for processing using a function which the client device lacks, a device status determination unit which determines whether or not the server device is capable of the requested processing depending on statuses indicated by status information tables, and, when it is determined that the server device is capable of it, specifies alternative processing corresponding to a function for the requested processing among functions of the server device with reference to a function information table, an alternative-processing providing unit which performs the specified alternative processing, and a transmission unit which transmits data generated through the performing of the alternative processing to the client device.

  • Patent number: 8976973
Abstract: Sound is outputted, without giving the sense of incongruity to the user, even if reproduction of animation is stopped by the user. An animation acquiring section 11 acquires animation data D1 representing an animation generated in advance based on a setting operation by the user, and sound data D2 representing a sound to be reproduced in association with the animation. A sound output control section 12 calculates stop time sound information representing a feature of the sound at a point of time at which reproduction of the animation is stopped, using sound attribute information D4, in response to input of a stop command by the user, and determines a predetermined output method of the sound that matches the animation, based on the calculated stop time sound information, to reproduce the sound by the determined output method.

  • Patent number: 8806349
Abstract: A server apparatus of the present invention extracts the second client apparatus cooperable with the first client apparatus and transmits an instruction to the second client apparatus to launch a user interface, based on a user interface request from the first client apparatus, and transmits an instruction to the second client apparatus to display the user interface, based on a cooperation request from the first client apparatus, and thereby the first client apparatus and the second client apparatus cooperate with each other to allow an operation of the server apparatus in a short time after a cooperation request for causing the first client apparatus operated by a user and the second client apparatus different from the first client apparatus to cooperate with each other.

  • Publication number: 20130293469
Abstract: A user interface control device provides a GUI allowing a depth of a graphic to be easily set when composing the graphic with a stereoscopic image. The device comprises: a graphic information obtaining unit that specifies an area occupied by the graphic when the graphic is arranged on one of two viewpoint images forming a stereoscopic image; a depth information analyzing unit that acquires a depth of a subject appearing within the specified area occupied by the graphic in the one viewpoint image; and a depth setting presenting unit that presents a first alternative and a second alternative for setting a depth of the graphic, the first alternative corresponding to the depth of the subject, and the second alternative corresponding to a depth differing for the depth of the subject.

  • Publication number: 20130100123
Abstract: An inclination calculating unit 203 calculates an inclination angle of the viewer's face. A stereo image regenerating unit 206 horizontally and vertically shifts each pixel constituting the original image based on the calculated inclination angle of the viewer's face and depth information (depth map) to generate a stereo image that allows the shift direction (parallax direction) of the image to coincide with a direction of a line connecting a left eye and a right eye.

  • Publication number: 20120139915
Abstract: A depth selector 18 selects a depth selecting position indicating a position along a depth axis Z, based on a depth selection command to be inputted by a user. A display judger 19 judges whether each of real objects RO is located on a forward side or on a rearward side with respect to the depth selecting position Zs in a depth space, and extracts real objects RO located on the reward side, as real objects RO to be displayed, in each of which a tag T1 is displayed. A drawing section 22 determines, on a display screen, a display position of each of the real objects RO to be displayed which have been extracted by the display judger 19 to draw the tags T1 at the determined display positions.
