  • Publication number: 20210054299
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lubricant composition which can be applied as a gear oil for a high-output and high-speed gear mechanism, and whereby fuel saving as well as further wear resistance in a bearing of a pinion gear can be realized while maintaining excellent durability, seizure resistance, and stability are maintained. A lubricant composition containing a Fischer-Tropsch-derived base oil, a poly alpha-olefin, and an ester compound, and further containing an unsaturated fatty acid and/or a partial ester compound of an unsaturated fatty acid and a polyol, wherein the partial ester compound of an unsaturated fatty acid includes a monoester compound of an unsaturated fatty acid and a polyol in a ratio of 50% by mass with respect to the total amount of the partial ester compound, and the SAE viscosity grade of the lubricant composition is 75W-85 or lower.

  • Publication number: 20190177647
Abstract: A lubricating oil composition that can suppress wear of bearings and the like and scoring of gear teeth surfaces and the like even at low viscosity. A lubricating oil composition that includes a lubricating oil base oil, a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent, and a phosphorus-based extreme pressure agent, wherein the lubricating oil composition is characterized in that: the quantity of active sulfur in the sulfur-based extreme pressure agent is 5-30% by mass; the sulfur-based extreme pressure agent is included in the composition at a quantity of 5-15% by mass relative to the mass of the entire lubricating oil composition; and the phosphorus-based extreme pressure agent is included in the composition at a quantity of 1.5-8% by mass relative to the mass of the entire lubricating oil composition.

  • Publication number: 20190048284
Abstract: Provided is a lubricant composition that, even when the viscosity thereof has decreased, can suppress abrasion of bearings, etc. and scoring of gear tooth surfaces, etc. A lubricant composition that contains a lubricant base oil and a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent. The lubricant composition is characterized in that the amount of active sulfur in the extreme pressure agent is 5-30 mass % and in that the extreme pressure agent content of the lubricant composition is 5-15 mass % with respect to the mass of the whole composition.
