  • Publication number: 20240167960
Abstract: A sensor system includes: a sensor substrate having a metal nanomesh structure attachable to a surface of an object or a biological organism; a light source configured to emit light toward the sensor substrate; and a detector configured to detect surface-enhanced Raman-scattered light from molecules adsorbed on the metal nanomesh structure, by light emission from the light source. A method for fabricating a sensor substrate includes: preparing a mesh fiber sheet made of a given material by electrospinning; forming a metal layer on the mesh fiber sheet by a prescribed film formation method; and removing the mesh fiber sheet using liquid that dissolves the given material to obtain the sensor substrate having a metal nanomesh structure.

  • Patent number: 11982612
Abstract: Systems and methods for flow cytometry. The methods comprise: labeling cells of a sample with Raman tags; causing the sample to flow through a microfluidic channel of a flow cytometer through which a laser beam passes; detecting Raman signals emitted from the Raman tags while being illuminated by the laser beam; and determining characteristics of the cells based on the detected Raman signals.

  • Publication number: 20230335970
Abstract: Systems and methods for operating a dual-comb laser. The methods comprise: generating pulsed laser beams by first and second laser sources of the dual-comb laser, at least one of the first and second laser sources comprises a diode pumped solid state laser with an output intensity that is modifiable; and matching phase repetition rates of the pulsed laser beams by selectively modifying the output intensity of the diode pumped solid state laser.
