  • Publication number: 20110036712
Abstract: The present invention relates to an analysis system including a laser beam oscillator 60 that emits a laser beam for extracting bodily fluid from the skin, and one or more analysis tools 2 that are used for analyzing a specific ingredient in the bodily fluid and that have a through hole 23 through which the laser beam passes. The analysis tool 2 includes plural conductors 20, 21 layered in a state in which they are electrically insulated from each other. The analysis tool 2 further includes an insulation layer 26 interposed between adjacent conductors 20, 21, and insulation layers 27, 28 which covers an outer surface of at least one of two outermost conductors located on the outermost portions among the plural conductors 20, 21.

  • Patent number: 7491310
Abstract: The present invention relates to a technique for measuring the concentration of a particular component in a sample liquid using a test tool (2). The test tool (2) includes a first through a third detection elements (31a-33a) arranged in the mentioned order in the moving direction of the sample liquid for measuring an electro-physical quantity. The present invention provides a concentration measuring method which includes a first detection step for detecting whether or not liquid conduction is established between the first and the second detection elements (31a, 32a), a second detection step for detecting whether or not liquid conduction is established between the second and the third detection elements (31a, 33a), a measurement step for measuring an electro-physical quantity by using the first through the third detection elements (31a-33a), and a concentration computation step for computing the concentration of the particular component based on the electro-physical quantity.

  • Patent number: 7351375
Abstract: The present invention relates to an analyzing implement (1) having a capillary for movement of a specimen liquid. The capillary has inner surfaces (21c, 32c) provided with a first and a second opposed electrodes opposed to each other. The implement (1) includes, for example, a substrate (20), a cover (40) and a spacer (30) between the substrate (20) and the cover (40). In this case, the capillary is provided by the substrate (20), the cover (40) and the spacer (30). Preferably, capillary forming surfaces (31c, 32c) of the spacer (30) are electrically conductive, in which case the surfaces (31c, 32c) provide the first and the second electrodes.
