  • Publication number: 20230390901
Abstract: An electric tool includes a holder, a motor, a transmission mechanism, a torque detection unit, a clutch mechanism, and a controller. The holder is configured to hold a tip tool thereon. The transmission mechanism transmits torque of the motor to the holder. The torque detection unit detects the torque transmitted from the motor to the holder. The clutch mechanism is switchable from a transmitting state where the torque of the motor is transmitted to the holder to an interrupted state where no torque of the motor is transmitted to the holder, and vice versa. The controller switches, when a predetermined condition about the torque detected by the torque detection unit is satisfied, the clutch mechanism from the transmitting state to the interrupted state.

  • Publication number: 20230311293
Abstract: An electric tool includes a motor, a holder, a transmission mechanism, a torque detector, an electronic clutch, and an inhibiting mechanism. The holder is configured to hold a tip tool thereon. The transmission mechanism transmits motive power of the motor to the holder. The torque detector detects a torque value about output torque provided by the tip tool. The electronic clutch is activated when a predetermined condition about the torque value detected by the torque detector is satisfied and thereby controls the motor to make the motor stop running. The inhibiting mechanism is interposed between the motor and the holder. The inhibiting mechanism inhibits transmission of inertial force from the motor to the holder in response to activation of the electronic clutch.

  • Publication number: 20230158646
Abstract: An electric tool system includes: a motor; an output shaft to be coupled to a tip tool; a transmission mechanism that transmits motive power of the motor to the output shaft; an acquirer that acquires, based on a current flowing through the motor, a torque value related to output torque provided by the tip tool; and a controller that has a torque management mode in which the controller controls the motor in accordance with an operating command entered by a user through a trigger switch and prevents the torque value from exceeding an upper limit value. The controller controls, when finding a predetermined condition satisfied in the torque management mode, a velocity of the motor into a predetermined restriction value irrespective of a manipulative variable of the trigger switch. The predetermined condition includes a condition that the torque value reach a threshold value smaller than the upper limit value.

  • Publication number: 20230120149
Abstract: An electric tool includes an output shaft and a controller. The output shaft is configured to hold a tip tool and be rotated by motive power provided from an electric motor with the output shaft holding the tip tool. The controller is configured to control rotation of the output shaft in accordance with pressing force in a direction from a tip end of the tip tool toward the output shaft. The electric tool has, as an operation range, a restriction range in which rotation of the output shaft is restricted in a state where the pressing force is less than or equal to a prescribed value.

  • Publication number: 20230001549
Abstract: An electric tool system includes a motor, a control unit, and an output shaft. The motor includes a stator and a rotor. The control unit performs vector control on the motor. The control unit includes a first acquisition unit, a second acquisition unit, and a command value generation unit. The command value generation unit calculates, based on a torque current acquisition value (current measured value) as a value related to a torque current as acquired by the first acquisition unit and an acceleration acquisition value as a value related to acceleration of the rotor as acquired by the second acquisition unit, at least one of a command value of the torque current to be supplied to the motor or a command value of an excitation current to be supplied to the motor.

  • Publication number: 20220410283
Abstract: An electric tool includes a pressure-sensitive sensor, a support, an output shaft, and a controller. The pressure-sensitive sensor is configured to sense pressing force which is externally provided. The support supports the pressure-sensitive sensor. The output shaft is configured to hold a tip tool and be rotated relative to the support by motive power provided from an electric motor with the output shaft holding the tip tool. The controller is configured to control rotation of the output shaft in accordance with an output according to the pressing force, the output being output from the pressure-sensitive sensor.

  • Publication number: 20220274245
Abstract: In an electric tool, a motor has a permanent magnet and a coil. An operating member receives an operating command. A control unit performs driving control on the motor in accordance with the operating command. A transmission mechanism transmits motive power of the motor to an output shaft. A switching mechanism switches an operation mode of the electric tool from a first mode to a second mode, or vice versa. Magnitude of variation in a rotational speed of the output shaft in response to a change by a unit quantity in an output torque of the output shaft is smaller in the first mode than in the second mode. The control unit can perform, in the first mode, flux weakening control that causes a flux weakening current to flow through the coil to make the coil generate a magnetic flux that weakens a magnetic flux of the permanent magnet.

  • Publication number: 20220115969
Abstract: An electric tool includes: a motor; an attachment unit to receive a tip tool attached thereto; a drive control unit to control the motor; a number of revolutions detection unit; and a torque detection unit. The number of revolutions detection unit detects a number of revolutions of a first detection target shaft. The torque detection unit detects a load torque of a second detection target shaft. The drive control unit detects, based on the number of revolutions and load torque detected, an unstable behavior of at least one of the tip tool, the first detection target shaft, or the second detection target shaft and either decelerates, or stops running, the motor when detecting the unstable behavior.
