  • Publication number: 20240132633
Abstract: A method for producing an aqueous dispersion of a fluorine-containing elastomer, which includes polymerizing a fluorine-containing monomer in the presence of an aqueous medium and a fluorine-containing compound (A), wherein the fluorine-containing elastomer contains a methylene group in a main chain, the fluorine-containing compound (A) is a compound represented by general formula (A): CXiXk?CXjRa—(CZ1Z2)k—Y3??(A) wherein Xi, Xj, and Xk are the same or different and are F, Cl, H, or CF3; Y3 is a hydrophilic group; Ra is a linking group; Z1 and Z2 are the same or different and are H, F, or CF3; and k is 0 or 1; provided that at least one of Xi, Xk, Xj, Ra, Z1, and Z2 includes F; and the number of carbon atoms in a portion excluding the hydrophilic group is 6 or less, and the fluorine-containing compound (A) is fed after polymerization is initiated.

  • Patent number: 6076972
Abstract: The present invention relates to a track roller having inner and outer races of a large radial wall thickness, in which an insert hole close to a raceway passage and a rolling element feed hole crossing the insert hole and joined to the raceway passage are formed, whereby the loading of the rolling elements into the raceway passage can be done simply and speedily. In order to load balls which constitute the rolling elements into the raceway passage formed between a raceway groove of the outer race and that of the inner race, the inner race is provided in the portion thereof which is close to the raceway passage with the axially extending insert hole and the rolling element feed hole of a small length extending from an inner surface of the insert hole to the raceway groove of the inner race. The balls are loaded from the insert hole into the raceway grooves via the rolling element feed hole, and a plug is then fitted in the rolling element feed hole.

  • Patent number: 5871282
Abstract: The linear motion rolling guide unit has a top seal secured to the casing which comprises sealing members facing side areas of the upper surface of the track rail. Each of the sealing members comprises a lip seal portion and a labyrinth seal portion. The lip seal portion is inclined outwardly toward the raceway grooves of the casing and its front end contacts the side area of the upper surface of the track rail. The labyrinth seal portion is arranged on a central area side of the lip seal portion and does not contact the side area of the upper surface of the track rail. Hence, the labyrinth seal portions of the top seal prevent foreign matters from entering into the raceway grooves and the lip seal portions prevent leakage of grease.

  • Patent number: 5634722
Abstract: The linear motion rolling guide unit has sealing devices that can be applied without having to modify the fundamental specifications of the existing unit and which can also be installed and removed easily. Each of the seals in the sealing device comprises a metal plate core and a rubber bonded to the core by baking. The core has at the central part a notched portion that allows a pair of seal side portions to be opened or expanded. Replacement of the seals can be done simply by fitting new seals over the track rail from above. The interference of the seals in the assembled sealing device can be adjusted easily by adjusting the distance that the adjust screws, whose front ends contact the side surface of the core, are screwed in.

  • Patent number: 5575216
Abstract: The linear motion rolling guide unit has a top seal secured to the casing which comprises a pair of lip seals that are in sliding contact with side areas of the upper surface of the track rail. The lip seals each have a pair of lip portions that incline from a base portion outwardly toward the sides of the casing. Because the lip portions are spaced a predetermined distance from each other, their sealing actions are not affected by each other, effectively preventing further ingress into the raceway grooves of foreign matters that have entered into the slider. When the pressure in the raceway grooves is increased by the supplied grease, the lip portion on the outer side is pressed with an increased force against the upper surface of the track rail, effectively preventing leakage of the grease.
