Abstract: Provided is a driving assistance device capable of ensuring safety by allowing an opposite lane to be always seen from a time of entering an intersection to a start of executing a right/left turn and enabling the right/left turn at the intersection without missing a right/left turn execution opportunity. An own vehicle C is caused to stand by at a standby position Cb which allows detecting a following vehicle D of the own vehicle C by a rear side sensor and determining whether or not an oncoming right/left-turn standby vehicle E is capable of a right/left turn. In a case where it is determined that the oncoming right/left-turn standby vehicle E crosses the intersection and turns right or left, and the own vehicle C is capable of crossing the intersection and turning right or left, a right/left turn of the own vehicle C is started.

Abstract: A personal information display system is provided with a portable information display device for reading information to be used from a storage medium, a communication network for transmission of information, input/output apparatus for input/output of information, an input/output control apparatus connected between the communication network and the input/output apparatus, an information control apparatus having a hierarchical memory connected to the communication network, and an information output apparatus connected to the information control apparatus to transfer information to the storage medium of the portable information display device.

Abstract: In a common bus control method of a distributed arbitration in which a contention between bus usage requests from a plurality of units connected to a common bus is arbitrated by each unit by use of an identifier representing a priority level and assigned thereto, unit identifiers are dynamically exchanged between a unit having a highest priority level and a unit having a lower priority level, thereby enabling the respective units to use the common bus at a balanced usage frequency.
