  • Patent number: 10369615
Abstract: A method of joining strip-shaped sheets includes a support step of placing a support member in contact with a reverse feed direction end of a strip-shaped sheet fed to a pressing machine and a feed direction end of a new strip-shaped sheet, and a joining step of joining the new strip-shaped sheet to the strip-shaped sheet by attaching a tape on the reverse feed direction end of the strip-shaped sheet and the feed direction end of the new strip-shaped sheet, wherein in the joining step, the tape is attached from a side opposite the support member with the support member placed in contact with the reverse feed direction end of the strip-shaped sheet and the feed direction end of the new strip-shaped sheet. The problem of the variation in welding quality encountered when welding thin and wide strip-shaped sheets together is resolved and the strip-shaped sheet is fed smoothly.

  • Publication number: 20150166058
Abstract: When the speed of a vehicle is not lower than a prescribed value, an operation disabling signal is output from an operation disabling controller to a car navigation system, and the operation of the car navigation system is disabled. However, even when the operation disabling signal is being output to the car navigation system, in the cases where assistance control for a driving operation is being performed on the basis of a risk determination result, and where a prediction result of the risk to the vehicle is that the risk to the vehicle does not increase before a prescribed time elapses, then an operation enabling signal is output from the operation enabling controller to the car navigation system, whereby it becomes possible to operate the car navigation system.

  • Patent number: 6740769
Abstract: A process for producing a molybdenum-bismuth-iron-containing metal oxide fluidized bed catalyst which has a controlled particle diameter and has satisfactory activity and physical properties. In a process for producing a fluidized bed catalyst containing molybdenum-bismuth-iron and silica as a carrier component, dried products formed in a spray drying step and having a particle diameter outside a desired range are pulverized, then the pulverized one is mixed into a slurry before spray drying, the resulting mixture is spray-dried, and the spray-dried particles are subjected to a classification operation to obtain particles having a diameter within the desired range, which are then calcined. The catalyst produced according to the present invention is suitable for producing acrylonitrile by ammoxidation of propylene.

  • Patent number: 5701867
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling the idling speed of an engine is disclosed. An idling speed control valve disposed in an idle passage communicates with the intake passage downstream and upstream of the throttle valve to control the amount of the airflow supplied to the idling engine. A neutral start switch outputs an instruction signal to an ECU based on a switching operation of a shift lever from its neutral range to a drive range. Based on the instruction signal, the ECU computes a duty factor to increase the airflow amount through the idle speed control valve to a predetermined amount. The increased airflow amount is subsequently attenuated to a predetermined magnitude with an attenuation factor based on a change rate of the engine speed.
