    Abstract: In an automotive vehicle having a stabilizer connected to unspring members, a hydraulic stabilizer control system comprises a hydraulic cylinder unit interposed between the stabilizer and at least one of the unspring members; a road surface sensor for detecting a road surface condition, a speed sensor for detecting a speed of said automotive vehicle, and a steering sensor for detecting a steering angle of said automotive vehicle; and a controlling unit for controlling the hydraulic cylinder unit in accordance with outputs from the sensors. A roll of the vehicle is reduced by this hydraulic stabilizer control system even when the vehicle is turning on a rough road.

    Abstract: A motor-driven radial plunger pump has an outer housing enclosing a motor section and a pump section drivingly connected thereto. The motor section has a motor housing cooperating with the outer housing to define a fluid passage having a fluid inlet adjacent to a part of the motor housing in which a brush unit is disposed. The fluid passage contains a filter element and has a recess disposed upstream thereof and adjacent to motor magnets so that magnetic particles contained in the fluid flow are magnetically adhered to and deposited on the bottom of the recess. The pump section has a rotor with radial plungers slidably disposed in cylinder bores in the rotor. The cylinder bores have radially inner end successively communicated with a suction passage communicated with the fluid passage between the outer and motor housings through feed holes formed in a coupling disc plate drivingly connecting the motor with the rotor.

    Abstract: An internal combustion engine with an apparatus for controlling supercharging pressure. The engine includes at its exhaust pipe a by-pass conduit by-passing a turbine of the supercharger. A by-pass valve (so-called waste gate valve) is arranged in the by-pass conduit, which by-pass valve is connected to a diaphragm type actuator. The actuator has a diaphragm opened to the intake pipe at a position between the compressor of the supercharger and a throttle valve. A fixed orifice is arranged in the conduit. The conduit is at a position between the fixed orifice and the actuator connected to the atmosphere via variable orifice. The orifice is operated in accordance with the engine acceleration condition so that the pressure at which the by-pass valve is opened is increased when the engine is accelerating.
