  • Publication number: 20160058628
Abstract: A wearable article comprising: a main body comprising an outer cover layer and a backsheet attached to the skin-facing surface of the outer cover layer; and a ring-like elastic belt comprising a front belt and a back belt; the backsheet comprising a printed main artwork observable from the garment-facing side of the article. The main artwork exists in the vicinity of the proximal edge of the central panel of at least one of the front and back belts, extends from at least one of the front and back central panels into the crotch panel; and comprises a belt area artwork displayed on the central panel and a crotch area artwork displayed on the crotch panel. The relationship of the opacity of the outer cover layer to the opacity of the central panel overlayed on the garment facing side of the backsheet is defined herein.

  • Publication number: 20110236905
Abstract: There are provided a method for screening individual cattle having useful economic traits in which proteins related to the economic traits of beef cattle are identified by proteomics and are used as biomarkers, and a cattle screening kit for use in the method. The method for screening individual cattle according to the present invention includes the steps of (1) harvesting body tissue from the cattle, (2) extracting the full complement of proteins from the body tissue harvested, (3) detecting a wild-type annexin A5 protein, an isoform of the wild-type annexin A5 protein, or a modified protein of the wild-type annexin A5 protein or the isoform thereof in the full complement of proteins extracted, and (4) determining whether or not the cattle will have a high average carcass weight on the basis of the type of annexin A5 detected. The wild-type annexin A5 protein, the isoform thereof, and the modified protein thereof are detected by two-dimensional electrophoresis or an antigen-antibody reaction.

  • Patent number: 6240327
Abstract: An audio-mixing apparatus and processing method reduces the time for audio-mixing and the PCM conversion processes and reduces memory capacity. The audio-mixing apparatus has a memory for storing a mixing data piece generated from an operation data piece which precedes a different operation data piece being processed at present, a mixing processor for performing a mixing process of the different operation data piece and the mixing data piece read out of the memory to generate a different mixing data piece, and a PCM converter for sequentially performing a PCM conversion process of the mixing data pieces to deliver PCM output data piece.

  • Patent number: 5880686
Abstract: A decoding and regenerating device for frame coded data comprises a decoding unit which decodes frame coded data which is obtained by coding time series signals of a plurality of channels by entering on a frame-by-frame basis at every channel; a regenerative data buffer memory which places memory blocks to form a square matrix of rows and columns in number corresponding to the number of channels and selects alternately in every frame period a first data arrangement that regenerative data for one frame of the respective channels is stored in every row of the square matrix and a second data arrangement that regenerative data for one frame of the respective channels is stored in every column, to store the regenerative data as a stored state of the regenerative data; and a data regenerating unit for reading to regenerate the regenerative data which is stored in the regenerative data buffer memory.
