Patent number: 7712183Abstract: An electric vacuum cleaner (1) of the invention is adapted for wipe off cleaning using a sheet wound about a rotary brush (25) incorporated in a suction device (10). In order to wind a sheet (50) around a periphery of the rotary brush (25), a brush motor (44) rotates the rotary brush (25) in a predetermined direction at a predetermined rotational speed. At the same time, suction force of an electric blower fan (42) is set to the lowest level. This achieves the following advantage in a case where a wet sheet is used as the sheet (50). During sheet winding, water and alcohol released from the wet sheet (50) can be prevented from being scattered on a surface (100) to be cleaned. Further, the released water and alcohol do not adversely affect the electric blower fan (42).Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2008Date of Patent: May 11, 2010Assignee: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kouichi Nakai, Sadaki Kodera, Akihiro Fukumoto, Chizuyo Matsumoto, Akihiro Morita, Hirotaka Shikano, Hideya Tsuchida, Yoshiaki Matsumoto, Eiji Mukumoto, Shigeki Inui

The suction tool main body, an interior of the vacuum cleaner main body, the grip portion and the dust box are directly connected in this order such that circulation of air is permitted. The interior of the vacuum cleaner main body and the grip portion are connected in a freely attachable and detachable manner. It is possible to perform both ordinary use (floor cleaning) using a suction tool main body and use of an attachment through a grip portion by utilizing one successive flow path so that it will not be necessary to provide a flow path switching mechanism to thereby simply the arrangement.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2004Publication date: August 26, 2004Applicant: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazuyoshi Yoshimi, Kazumasa Kamatani, Shuzo Ueyama, Hiroyuki Takami, Kouichi Nakai

Patent number: 6584530Abstract: The present invention provides a means for preventing execution of a transaction such as main storage access from obstruction by bus competition with low-speed IO access and improving the bus occupation efficiency. Apparatus for preventing execution of a transaction such as storage access from obstruction by bus competition with low-speed IO access. The invention includes a first bus, a second bus, a plurality of modules connected to both buses, a bus conversion unit for performing protocol conversion of information between both buses, a bus arbiter for arbitrating a bus occupation right request of a bus master, and a storage for storing access data up to a predetermined amount when the access destination is a predetermined module.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 2002Date of Patent: June 24, 2003Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Nobukazu Kondo, Koichi Okazawa, Yukihiro Seki, Ryuichi Hattori, Masaya Umemura, Shigemi Adachi, Kouichi Nakai, Takashi Moriyama

Patent number: 6425037Abstract: The present invention provides a means for preventing execution of a transaction such as main storage access from obstruction by bus competition with low-speed IO access and improving the bus occupation efficiency. The present invention includes a first bus, a second bus, a plurality of modules connected to both buses, a bus conversion means for performing protocol conversion of information between both buses, a bus arbiter for arbitrating a bus occupation right request of a bus master, and a storage means for storing access data up to a predetermined amount when the access destination is a predetermined module. Each bus master outputs access destination information and when the bus arbiter judges that one of the bus masters issues a bus occupation right request when it performs an access operation, the bus arbiter refers to the access destination information and the data storage status of the storage means and decides whether or not to give a bus occupation right to the bus master.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 1999Date of Patent: July 23, 2002Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Nobukazu Kondo, Koichi Okazawa, Yukihiro Seki, Ryuichi Hattori, Masaya Umemura, Shigemi Adachi, Kouichi Nakai, Takashi Moriyama

Patent number: 6243915Abstract: A vacuum cleaner wherein a hose, a pipe and a suction nozzle, which are connected to a vacuum cleaner main body incorporating therein a motor fan, are formed with a suction air passage as well as an exhaust air passage for making air exhausted from the motor fan circumfluently flow. The pipe is composed of an inner cylindrical portion having a substantially circular section and forming the suction air passage, and an outer cylindrical portion a part of which is uniformly formed with the inner cylindrical portion and which covers the inner cylindrical portion to form the exhaust air passage. There can be achieved for a light-weighted and slim-sized arrangement of the pipe through which the suction air passage and the exhaust air passage extends without the fear of dust plugging, and a vacuum cleaner of exhaust circumfluently flowing type can be easily put into to practice.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2000Date of Patent: June 12, 2001Assignee: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kouichi Nakai, Toshinari Kobayashi, Sadaki Kodera, Yoshihiro Mori, Toshiyuki Fujiyoshi, Takahiro Nishiyama

Patent number: 6021455Abstract: An information processing system includes a first bus, a second bus, a plurality of modules connected to both buses, a bus arbiter for arbitrating a bus access request of a bus master, and a storage means for storing access data up to a predetermined amount for one of modules when access destination information indicates that said module is the access destination. Each bus master outputs access destination information and when the bus arbiter judges that one of the bus masters issues a bus access request when it performs an access operation, the bus arbiter refers to whether the predetermined amount of access destination information is fully stored in the storage means, and decides whether or not to give a bus access to the bus master.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 1996Date of Patent: February 1, 2000Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Nobukazu Kondo, Koichi Okazawa, Yukihiro Seki, Ryuichi Hattori, Masaya Umemura, Shigemi Adachi, Kouichi Nakai, Takashi Moriyama
