  • Patent number: 8017383
Abstract: A solution temperature control device in a biological cell observing chamber (30) used for the detection of chemotaxis and chemotactic cell separator, comprising a first temperature controller (62) and a second temperature controller (63). The first temperature controller (62) measures the temperature of a solution filled in a pair of wells and a flow passage in the chamber and controls the temperature to a specified temperature, and the second temperature controller (63) measures the temperature of a heating part (64) which heats the chamber (30) from the outside to indirectly heat the solution filled in the pair of wells and the flow passage and controls the temperature to a specified preheat temperature. Since the state and quantity of cells moving from one well to the other through the flow passage while holding the temperature of the solution at a specified temperature can be accurately observed and measured, accuracy for controlling the temperature of the solution can be remarkably increased.

  • Patent number: 6528725
Abstract: To provide electronic device, which is easily assembled and disassembled. A cup-shaped introduction tube made of a rubber type member is inserted in an introduction hole provided in a watch case. On an outer peripheral surface of the introduction tube, a convex portion having a uniform semi-arch shape in cross-section in an axial direction is integrally formed. A metal pipe is inserted into the introduction tube, and an outer diameter of the metal pipe and an inner diameter of the introduction tube have a relationship of close fit before insertion. Furthermore, at an end portion of the metal pipe, a brim-shaped edge portion is formed. A ring groove is formed on a cup bottom surface of the introduction tube. In the ring groove, an annular O-ring made of a rubber type member is sandwiched. The O-ring has substantially the same inner diameter as the diameter of a shield line, and the O-ring forms a seal surface among the shield line, the metal pipe, and the ring groove in a crushed state.

  • Publication number: 20020079653
Abstract: A water-resistant function can be maintained even in the case where a substrate is interposed between packings. Packing has a rib-shaped convex portion having a uniform height and width on a surface contacting a flexible substrate. The packing with such a convex portion is fitted in grooves provided in a body and a back cover. The rib-shaped convex portion disposed on the packing is biased to an edge portion of the substrate when a housing is closed, and is elastically deformed in a direction in which it comes into close contact with a side surface portion of the substrate. Thus, the convex portion disposed on the packing blocks up a gap generated in the vicinity of the side surface of the substrate and has a functional effect of suppressing water from entering.
