  • Patent number: 5177776
Abstract: A one dimensional X-ray image sensor consists of a plurality of unit detecting devices aligned in a row and a filter which covers a portion thereof and is made of a material having an X-ray absorption coefficient equal to or nearly equal to that of a target material to be inspected. An X-ray inspection apparatus includes the one dimensional X-ray image sensor and further includes a data processor for correcting measured values using data measured in regard to the filter.

  • Patent number: 4808811
Abstract: A light measuring circuit including a light sensing device for sensing light and producing a signal representative of the light sensed, a compressing circuit for compressing the signal, a capacitor having one terminal connected to a predetermined voltage, a charging circuit responsive to the compressing circuit for charging the capacitor, a detecting circuit for responding to the voltage level of the capacitor, a switch for shorting the capacitor when closed for initiating charge of the capacitor by opening, and a delay circuit coupled to one of the charging circuits and the switch for delaying the onset of charge of the capacitor.

  • Patent number: 4705373
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for confirming whether all of flash light devices to be used are in the fully charged state or not in case a plural number of flash light devices are used for flash photographing. According to the present invention, in case a plural number of flash light devices are used for flash photographing, when some of the flash light devices are not used, only the flash light devices to be used are detected in such a manner that only the charge state of the detected flash light devices to be used is detected except the flash light devices not to be used.

  • Patent number: 4643551
Abstract: A plurality of preliminary illumination type flash units are connected to a camera and arranged so that for the preliminary illumination, all the units are fired at a time, but photographic information from only one of the flash units is transmitted to the camera, thereby a proper aperture value is selected automatically.

  • Patent number: 4542974
Abstract: In the disclosed flash unit, a preliminary flash for evaluating a proper exposure precedes a main flash. A flash exposure control apparatus respond to tilting of the flash's head after a preliminary flash to present a warning signal, or to renew the preliminary flash and thereby to readjust the aperture to the new exposure condition.

  • Patent number: 4430602
Abstract: In the disclosed device, a DC-DC converter boosts the output of a battery to charge a capacitor that stores electrical energy to be converted into light energy and turns on a neon tube when the capacitor voltage reaches a first predetermined value. A control arrangement disables the converter in response to the neon tube turning on the re-enables the converter when the capacitor charge drops to the first predetermined level after the neon tube turns on.
