  • Publication number: 20050070647
Abstract: A molded article is produced from a flame retardant resin composition obtained by compounding a thermoplastic resin or thermosetting resin with a flame retardant composition comprising as essential ingredients a fluorine compound (A) represented by the following formula (1): R1—SO2—R2 or R1—SO3?M+??(1) (wherein R1 represents a C1-C12 perfluoroalkyl group, a C2-C8 perfluoroalkenyl group, a C6-C12 perfluoroaryl group which may be substituted, a C3-C12 perfluoroalicyclic hydrocarbon group, or a C7-C12 perfluoroaralkyl group; R2 represents a halogen atom, an N-alkylamino group, or an N-alkyl-N-hydroxyalkylamino group; and M represents an alkali metal) and a polyester resin (B). The molded article has flame retardancy despite addition of the fluorine compound (A) in a very small amount. Excellent dispersion of the fluorine compound (A) is attained, and bleeding of the compound (A) is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20040200177
Abstract: Provided is a form for use in placing concrete, which is made from a recycled resin composition including a recycled polyester resin, a lactone polymer, an epoxidized diene based block copolymer, and optionally a polyolefin resin. The form can be made extremely advantageously from the view point of production cost since it utilizes a recycled resin such as waste PET. Further, the form is easy to set up and to remove after the placement of concrete when a support is used for setting. The form for use in placing concrete according to the present invention is improved in formability and has excellent mechanical strength.

  • Patent number: 6218522
Abstract: A DNA molecule having a gene expression repressing function derived from human T-cell leukemia virus type I (HTLV-I) existing in a region which is missing in a mutant provirus that is expressing p21Xm RNA but exists in the genome of a complete provirus, and a plasmid including the DNA molecule are provided. Furthermore, a novel protein (TRP-1) which specifically binds to U5RE and a structural gene for the protein is provided, which can be useful for elucidation of the transcription repression activity and elucidation of the oncogenesis mechanism of neurocytes, in which a transcriptional repressive region (U5RE) existing in the U5 region of human T-cell leukemia virus type I gene LTR is involved. Furthermore, an expression vector including the gene, a transformant into which the expression vector is introduced, and a process for producing the TRP-1 protein using the transformant are provided.

  • Patent number: 6177524
Abstract: A block copolymer having (meth)acryloyl groups in side chains, which copolymer is a ring-opening addition product of (meth)acryloyl-group-containing carboxylic acid to epoxy groups of a block copolymer obtained through epoxidation of double bonds derived from a conjugated diene compound contained in a base block copolymer formed of a polymer block of an aromatic vinyl compound and that of a conjugated diene compound; as well as adhesive compositions, sealant compositions, coating compositions, and sizing compositions.

  • Patent number: 6130081
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of degrading organic sulfur compounds, in which organic sulfur compounds are decomposed by a microorganism belonging to the genus Paenibacillus and having the ability to decompose organic sulfur compounds. Heterocyclic sulfur compounds can be decomposed by specifically cleaving their C--S bonds under high-temperature conditions.

  • Patent number: 5291193
Abstract: A wireless transmission-reception control system in which the data transmitted as a radio wave from more than one wireless transmitter along with an ID code are received by a wireless receiver and decoded at a front end decoder. The ID code of the transmitted data thus received is compared by a comparer with the ID code of the transmitted data already registered at a data register to discriminate if a collation of the data is to be made [or not], and only the transmitted data, the registration of which is confirmed, are decoded to have an output generated. The wireless transmitters each have different, fixed ID codes, and the wireless receiver may be switched over at least between a mode of registering an ID code and a mode of generating an output after the decoding of the transmitted data.
