  • Patent number: 7427276
Abstract: A syringe with which an accurate amount of a liquid can be discharged by a simple operation. The syringe 1 includes an outer tube 2, a gasket 3 slidable in the outer tube 2, a pusher 4 operable for moving the gasket 3, and a stopper 5 disposed to be slidable along the longitudinal direction of the pusher 4. The stopper 5 is fixed relative to the pusher 4 by the engagement of engaging portions, provided therein, with racks 47a, 47b formed on the pusher 4. When an operating portion 71 is depressed, the fixation condition is released, permitting regulation of the position of the stopper 5 on the pusher 4. When the depression on the operating portion 71 is canceled, the fixation condition is retained.

  • Patent number: 7111848
Abstract: A gasket is capable of providing an excellent slidabiity and holding its sealability without applying lubricant and a gasket that can prevent a resin film from being peeled off of a gasket body and prevent the generation of a molding defect such as pinholes. The gasket can be installed slidably in a outer tube of a syringe, including a gasket body and a resin film formed of a material lower in coefficient of friction than a material of the gasket body, which covers at least an outer periphery of the gasket body, in which when a surface roughness of the resin film on the outer tube side is defined as Ra1 and a surface roughness of the resin film on the gasket body side is defined as Ra2, a relationship of 1.5 Ra1?Ra2 is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 7081107
Abstract: A syringe (and a prefilled syringe) of a structure with ventilation means allowing a pusher to be easily pushed or pulled in use, providing an excellent operability of discharging (injecting) chemicals, making it hard for foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter into a syringe outer tube when not in use during storage or transporation, capable of assuring, by itself, the sanitation of the syringe outer tube when not in use, and allowed to be shipped without individually packaging the syringe with packaging material, wherein, as more desirable embodiments, the aseptic condition in the outer tube can be surely maintained even if the push and pull operations of the pusher are performed and, even if the pusher is pushed when not in use, a gasket does not move in tip direction and the arrangement of the pusher at the time of shipping can be stably maintained.

  • Publication number: 20060106349
Abstract: A first female connector and a second female connector that has on its outer periphery a screw portion engaging a female screw can be alternatively connected to the top of a syringe. A mouth portion with a smaller diameter than a barrel portion of an outer hollow-cylinder main body is provided at the top of an outer hollow-cylinder. A lock adapter is provided on the outer periphery of the mouth portion. The lock adapter is rotatable about the mouth portion and axially movable in an axial direction of the mouth portion. The lock adapter can be moved to a position at the base of the mouth portion where the operation of fitting a male taper portion formed at the top of the mouth portion into a bore portion of the first female connector is not interrupted. The lock adapter can be fixed to the mouth portion at the position to which the adapter is moved.

  • Publication number: 20050126653
Abstract: A sanitary recovering instrument capable of positively recovering, when excessive chemical liquid and interfusing gas are to be discarded from a liquid filled container pre-filled with a liquid and sealed, them into a closed space. The recovering instrument (1) in a preferable embodiment comprises a container body (2), a hollow needle tube (3), a gasket (4), an enclosing member (5), a cap (6), and a holder (7). When the needle tube (3) is allowed to puncture the elastic membrane (94) of the liquid-filled container (pre-filled syringe (8)), excessive chemical liquid and interfusing air are introduced into the storing space (20) in the container body (2) via the inner cavity (31) of the needle tube (3) to thereby move the gasket (4) slidingly and increase the volume of the space (20) according to the amount introduced.
