The introducing device 3 is comprised of: the stage 5; the first lifting/sliding devices 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d, which support the pallet 11 to allow it to move horizontally while keeping it lifting up to the floor surface of the stage; and the second lifting/sliding devices 29a, 29b, 29c and 29d, which receive the pallet from the first lifting/sliding devices and support it to allow it to move horizontally while keeping it lifting up to the floor surface of the container 2. The introducing device 3 is possible to be used for discharging operations.

Abstract: A method of introducing/discharging a heavy article is provided that allows for introducing and/or discharging a coil-shape heavy article to and from a transporting receptacle. The method includes utilizing a pallet, a stage, and a carrying vehicle to introduce/discharge the coil-shape heavy article. A coil-shape heavy article is secured to the pallet using a securing member and is transported, while secured to the pallet, between the stage, which is secured to the transporting receptacle, and the transporting receptacle. The stage includes a table having a height that is adjustable relative the floor surface of the transporting receptacle. Movement of the pallet between the stage and the transporting receptacle is performed by levitating a support frame of the carrying vehicle on which the pallet has been positioned using a controllable discharge of gas exiting from exhaust nozzles of the carrying vehicle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of producing bis(4-alkylthiophenyl) disulfides characterized by (a) reducing directly a 4-alkylthiobenzenesulfonyl chloride, or (b) oxidizing a 4-alkylthiobenzenethiol obtained by reducing a 4-alkylthiobenzenesulfonyl chloride. The present invention is capable of producing the compound below useful as an intermediate of pharmaceuticals.

Abstract: A process for production of l-alkylthiomethanediphosphonic acid compound or 1-arylthiomethanediphosphonic acid compound characterized by removing a thiolate byproduct as an insoluble salt, in the condensation represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R'.sub.1 represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 represents an alkyl or aryl group, R.sub.1 represents a pharmaceutically allowable cation, hydrogen atom, or linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The present invention significantly improves the yield compared with conventional methods, and simplifies the purification process at the same time, thus is extremely useful in an economical and industrial points of view.
