Publication number: 20110007751Abstract: A partial transport stream (TS) is temporarily recorded in a recording medium before being transmitted to a network. Here, when the partial TS is generated, null packets (invalid packets) are inserted into some of positions of packets determined not to be recorded, at a predetermined rate, and the resultant partial TS is recorded into the recording medium. When transmission is performed, the null packets previously inserted during recording are each replaced with a packet which contains information which is required during transmission, e.g., a program-specific information/service information (PSI/SI) packet. As a result, the load of packet inserting process during transmission can be reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 17, 2010Publication date: January 13, 2011Applicant: PANASONIC CORPORATIONInventor: Kouichi TSUTSUMI

Publication number: 20100315845Abstract: A power source circuit includes a DC voltage generating section which rectifies and smoothes an input AC voltage to generate a DC voltage; a switching regulator which converts the DC voltage into an AC voltage; a transformer which lowers the AC voltage; a first switch connected between a secondary winding of the transformer, and a load; and a control section which controls on/off of the switch. The control section controls the first switch to turn off the first switch at a time of a waiting mode.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2010Publication date: December 16, 2010Applicant: SANYO ELECTRIC CO., LTD.Inventors: Kazunori Kotani, Kouichi Tsutsumi, Takeru Urayama

Patent number: 6945339Abstract: A plurality of chip evacuating grooves (16, 26, 36, 46a, 46b) in a vertical direction in parallel with a rotational axis of a core main body (14) are formed at an outer peripheral face of the core main body (14) in a circumferential direction from a lower end portion to an upper end portion of the core main body (14) in a cylindrical shape provided with a drilling blade (15) at a lower end edge thereof. Further, a sectional area of the chip evacuating groove (16) is formed to gradually increase from a lower end to an upper end of the core main body (14). Further, a number of projections (52, 62, 70, 72) are formed at the outer peripheral face of the core main body (14) between the chip evacuating grooves.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2003Date of Patent: September 20, 2005Assignee: Max Co., Ltd.Inventors: Toshio Hiranuma, Masakazu Ishizeki, Tomohiro Koshiba, Kouichi Tsutsumi

Patent number: 6343584Abstract: A lubrication system for an engine includes an oil discharge port in a lower section of a crankcase. A crankshaft, with a crank web attached thereto, rotates in a rotation direction within the crankcase. A first distance is formed between the crank web and a first inner surface of the crankcase, downstream of the oil discharge port. A second distance is formed between the crank web and a second inner surface of the crankcase, upstream of the oil discharge port. The first distance is less than the second distance. Also, the oil discharge port is defined in part by a back edge, which is wedge shaped and points in a direction opposite the rotation direction of the crankshaft. The back edge scoops oil from the crank web and into the oil discharge port.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2000Date of Patent: February 5, 2002Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Osamu Kudou, Nobuaki Inumaru, Satoshi Shimashita, Kouichi Tsutsumi, Yoshimi Yamaguchi, Hiroshi Yamaura

Patent number: 6205971Abstract: A crankshaft rotation structure for a four cycle engine has a radial ball bearing fitted into a first main bearing section of a crankcase and a radial roller bearing fitted into a second main bearing section of the crankcase. The crankshaft is rotatably supported by the radial ball bearing and radial roller bearing. Furthermore, an oil jet nozzle for cooling a piston is provided in the second main bearing section. The diameter of the shafts for attachment of the bearings can be made the same, even if the outer diameter of the radial roller bearing is decreased compared to the outer diameter of the radial ball bearing. Accordingly, even if the oil jet nozzle is provided in the second main bearing section into which the radial roller bearing is fitted, the distance from the crankshaft center to the attachment position of the oil jet can be decreased and the engine itself can be reduced in size.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 1999Date of Patent: March 27, 2001Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Nobuaki Inumaru, Kouichi Tsutsumi, Yasuo Shimura, Osamu Kudou

Patent number: 6202621Abstract: An oil sump for lubricating oil is provided at a lower part of a crank chamber of a dry sump-type four-cycle engine. A reed valve is provided at an outlet of the oil sump which opens when pressure in the crank chamber is high. Furthermore, an oil passage slopes upwards from the outlet of the oil sump, with an outlet of the oil passage being provided above an oil surface level of oil accumulated within the engine. Oil from the outlet of the oil passage is smoothly discharged from the outlet of the oil passage without being discharged into the collected oil. Furthermore, oil mixed with air within the crank chamber is not directly mixed into the collected oil and oil oxidation is therefore prevented. Since there is no direct contact with high-temperature blow-by gas, etc., oil deterioration is suppressed.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 1999Date of Patent: March 20, 2001Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Nobuaki Inumaru, Kouichi Tsutsumi, Yasuo Shimura, Osamu Kudou
