Abstract: A power system stabilization device for the stabilization control of a power system, includes an indicator calculation unit for calculating an acceleration index, which is an index representing the acceleration of a generator for supplying electric power to the power system, by using the generator output, which is the output of the generator, and the generator phase difference that indicates the temporal change of the phase angle of the generator output; a threshold value determining unit for determining whether or not the acceleration index exceeds a preset threshold value; and a control command unit for generating a control command for control details that constitute a correction to the stabilization control, set in advance for the threshold value, when the acceleration index exceeds the threshold value.

Abstract: To provide a loading cam device which is capable of ensuring a necessary accuracy, improving the efficiency of the formation of a cam face, and reducing the manufacturing cost. A cam plate is fixedly secured to a chuck rotationally driven by a main shaft. A cutter is axially placed on one surface of the cam plate. A holder holding the cutter is axially displaced in synchronism with the rotation of the chuck to make an irregularity conforming with the cross-sectional configuration of the cam face. In addition, a header is displaced in the diametrical directions of the chuck to make an irregularity throughout.

Abstract: Disclosed are novel physiologically active substance SS 12538, process for its preparation and a novel microorganism producing the same.The novel physiologically active substance SS 12538 is represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## in which R represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or an ethyl group. SS 12538 is obtained by inoculating a novel strain S 12538 in a nutrient-containing medium and cultivating aerobically.SS 12538 has excellent vasodilating action and antibiotic action against a certain gram positive bacteria and dermatophytes.
